These comfortable shorts look great
These shorts look great. True to size and fit well. Nice belt loops. Great blue color and well made. Slightly lighter fabric than some but still good value and very comfortable. Great price.

Spot-on fit and very good quality for the price
I've been searching for the last year or so for good shorts with either velcro or buttons on the back pockets. I like carrying my big wad of cash in my back pocket so I want to make sure the roll of 20s don't fall out when I sit down somewhere. I've been buying Docker brand shorts for many years, but they no longer make their dress shorts with secure back pockets. This being Arizona where most of the year it's luke warm to hot weather you really need a bunch of shorts to wear near year-round.So I thought I'd try these Amazon branded ones, and bought a size 32 with a 9" inseam in the cheapest color they had just so I could try them out (color teal for around $13). This way if I didn't like them even after breaking them in and washing them it wouldn't be a great financial loss.Packaging is easy and generic: inside a simple plastic bag and a small tag. No stickers, nothing else to have to remove. Just take out of the bag and remove the simple, generic, barcode tag.I noticed that the stitching was solid with sturdy thread, unlike a lot of other brands that cost twice as much and yet seem to scrimp on the thread. These feel very well made. The buttons are solidly stitched on as well and should last a long time without falling out. Zipper runs up and down very well also. When I first put them on I thought the inseam might not be the short 9" that I prefer because it felt like it was a tad too long and was rubbing the back of my thighs, which really annoys me, hence my desire to always buy shorts with the shortest inseam. Well, I almost returned them at this point, but thought, "what the heck, for $13 I'll wear them some more and give them a try". Well, after a couple of hours of wearing them and walking around all over the place the hem softened up enough that it no longer bugs me by rubbing against the back of my thighs. So that's definitely a plus for me!I started to give these a one star downgrade for the only nit I have against these shorts: the front pockets seem to be about 1/2" to 1" shorter than I prefer. I would prefer to have the pockets be just a little bit deeper, in which case I'd give them a solid five stars. But because of this, I'll give them 4.51 stars and just round up for the overall very good quality and really good price. They're not quite Docker's quality, but they come close. The only difference, besides the pockets being a little bit shallower, is that while the cloth material is pretty thick (compared to many other brands I've bought over the years), it's still a fraction of a mill less heavy cloth than Docker's.So buy them if you want to try out something different that's nearly as good as top end brands, but costs a third of the price. But if you carry a big wallet in your front pocket then maybe not. But my Samsung Galaxy S21 does fit well in my front pocket along with my smallish wallet. I just wouldn't recommend carrying two big items in the same front pocket.PS I'm going to buy a few more of these to replace my worn out Docker's

Great Everyday Shorts at a Great Price
These shorts are a fantastic addition to my summer wardrobe. The classic fit is comfortable and true to size, providing ample room through the hip and thigh. The 100% cotton twill fabric is breathable and soft, making them ideal for warm days. They have a clean, polished look that works well for both casual and slightly dressier occasions. At this price point, they're an excellent value.

PERFECT FIT, NICE SOFT COTTON, MINE MADE IN BANGLADESH
Dynamite shorts - Pros - 1) nice mid-weight really soft cotton, 2) perfect fit for me, not too long or too short, 3) both rear pockets have buttons so you can protect your wallet or other stuff you put back there, 5) my Samsung cell fits in left front pocket, doesn't fall out, 6) great price. CONS - not made in the U.S., mine say made in Bangladesh.

They look great, they fit right, and they are not expensive
They look great, they fit right, and they were not expensive. Can't ask for more than that. These are now my go-to black shorts. I appreciate that they come in odd-numbered sizes because not all brands do, and I'm one of those lucky people who generally has to buy a size too large and try to get things to shrink just enough. (That rarely works.)

Nice, but cut big
Overall, these shorts are affordably priced and are very nice. They look great and fit well (once I got the correct size). The fabric is soft, comfortable, and of good quality. The length of the shorts is just where it should be. The only issue I had with these shorts is that the waist is cut way too big. My waist is 32" and I have rarely had any issues when buying shorts/pants with a 32" waist. Not with these. I ordered 3 colors with a 32" waist and all 3 were very big. I measured them to be around 34". So I returned them and reordered the same shorts in 30" and 31". The 30" fit snuggly. The 31" were still just a bit bigger than a normal 32" short, but fit well enough for me to keep them. If not for the hassle of ordering multiple sizes and returning the ones that did not fit, I would have rated these at least 4 stars (maybe 5).

Ooh nice!
So I said I’d get more of these in other colors & here I am. I got the hubs the khaki ones first. He loved them so I ordered more in other colors. He really likes them, says they’re comfy & breathable. Although it’s a medium thick and quality fabric they are not too warm. The pockets are full size and plenty deep. These are quality shorts and very good looking.

Comfy and Stylish, Just Handle with Care
I wore these shorts all summer and they quickly became my go-to. The fabric feels soft yet substantial enough to stay crisp after multiple washes, and the classic-fit cut works whether I’m lounging at home or headed to a casual BBQ. They pair nicely with tees or a button-down, giving you that “put-together without trying too hard” vibe.My only gripe? They wrinkle more than I expected—if you leave them bunched up at the end of a long day, you’ll need a quick iron or steaming to freshen them up. Also, the belt loops could be a tiny bit wider for thicker casual belts. Not big issues, but worth knowing if you care about that tailored look. Still, at this price, they’re a solid staple for warm-weather style.
