**Q: Can this work off a generator which is not sine wave**
A: A “Generator” is by common usage a rotary device that produces SINE wave signals/current. A signal generator or invertor can produce a square wave or in the case of the invertor a modified square/sine wave output. If the square wave signal is symmetrical and 60 hertz, emulating a 60 hertz “line” signal, then; yes , it could. I recommend a pure sine wave invertor or generator to prevent overheating.

**Q: I have 2- 12v, agm batteries in series, each 212 amp hour. can it be used for them? off grid solar, need to charge them over the winter**
A: Sure the charger will slow charge those. Trying to understand why you would need a plug in charger for an off grid solar system, as the charger is gonna have to pull from the grid, the panels, or the battery, one. Why wouldn't you use a solar charge contoller instead?

A: According to what their description says, it should not be a problem

**Q: Can I use it on lithium battery**
A: This charger is designed for lead-acid batteries.  Charging lithium batteries I believe uses less input voltage and the advertised charger is not adjustable.  In short I would not try to charge a lithium battery with this charger.
