If you're studying for shelfs or boards do NOT buy this book. The info is so basic spend a week on a sicu service and you'll learn more than what this book can teach you. Absolutely not worth buying

Great for medical students studying for surgery
This was a wonderful resource during a surgical rotation while in medical school. it's comprehensive but not too detailed, perfect for studying for the shelf. has some good practice questions and is a good size to keep in a scrub or white coat pocket to review in between cases

Not really worth it. There’s no information in this that’s new or would help you in surgery rotation it shelf exam. It might not even help with USMLE
