A simple but effective design - my dog has joint issues and sometimes strains something while running around... Jumping up on the bed is often something we need to prevent. But also, works great to keep dogs out of the room if the room also is where the cat poops!This one has 4 settings you can put the grommet. On the largest setting it's good for medium/large dogs.I know that the product says its good to keep kids out of rooms but beware - As soon as your kid is crafty enough to climb out of things or open doors is when they'll figure this out.It's not a lock - literally just places the grommet into the side of the door frame register thingy... It catches there but it doesn't lock. Our child is old enough now to place it or remove it. I wouldn't trust any kid that walks to not figure this out. It's very simple.

This may be the most amazing item we’ve ever took a chance on when shopping on Amazon. Needed a way to keep the dog out of the room where the cat’s litter box & food are, while still allowing the cat to get in and get some peace from the dog (we did not want to cut a cat door into the interior door, and we were fed up with the baby-gate-in-the-doorway approach because we’ve half killed ourselves several times but mis-judging the “climb over”!) This item far exceeded our expectations and works perfectly. Best thing we’ve purchased in a long time.

Finally a tool that can be put on a door to limit how much it can open without having to stick or drill anything onto the door or wall. These are super easy too install and remove. They are very strong. It has sure solved my issues of keeping my huskies out of the room where the cat litterbox and food is kept. Plus, it provides a safe space for the cats.

I bought this after seeing an ad for it on TikTok so I was pretty skeptical that it would work. But it is a fantastic find and a must for those who have cats and medium size + dogs. It prevents my pup from getting into the cats space. My cat only has 3 legs so can’t jump over a baby gate and my foster dogs are athletic enough to clear the baby gate. This is a subtle product that is easy to set up and remove. If you are on the fence just go ahead and buy it.

Since getting our rescue dog, we've struggled with her getting into our cat's litter box when we're out. We tried propping the door closed with a door wedge, but she would just push right through it. This came up as a targeted ad on my amazon, as though they knew my struggles :) It's super easy to install, my cat fits right through the door, and my dog stays out. Now we don't have to worry when we leave!*I will say that we've had an excellent experience, and my cat doesn't have any issue getting in and out of the door. My friend's cat, though, apparently struggled to understand how to get in and out of the room, and once finally in the room couldn't figure out how to get out. Even though he clearly fit within the gap. Haha. Soooo if your cat isn't the sharpest, you may need to spend some time training.

I love this product. Have purchased a second one. Allows air flow into my bedrooms plus access for the cats while keeping the dogs out. This is a great idea.

My cat gets offended when we close any door. This gadget helps keep my office door slightly ajar - this allows my cat to come in and out of my office without me needing to constantly let her in and out. It is also a good solution to prevent doors from slamming in cross-winds and inadvertently trapping her in a room while we are away.

I really wanted and needed this to work. My litterboxes are behind a door, which I need to prevent my dog from entering. And it DOES do exactly what it says it will, and feels very sturdy and effective in keeping the door in place. Previous options used 3M pads to adhere the device and my dog just rams it until they tear off. There is no chance my dog could force the door open with this cleverly designed device. However, the gap left when in use is WAY too narrow for either of my cats to get through, making their litter boxes inaccessible to the dog AND them, lol. There are settings to make the gap smaller, but at the largest setting, it is way too narrow for our use. I'm not sure if it's something to do with the placement of my door knobs, but my petite 1 yr old kitten (pictured) can only barely squeeze through, and my larger cat got his head stuck and can't get through past his shoulders. Sadly, another potential solution for my poop eating dog FAILED.

I need to keep my dog out of the area where my cat's litter box is, so we don't end up with a sick pooch! We had installed a cat door, but as my cat ages, he's finding it more difficult to jump through it so we thought this would be a great solution. The issue is that the opening that results after the installation of the product is HIGHLY DEPENDENT on the thickness of your door. My passage doors are thick, so the opening did not provide enough room for my cat to pass through. This product would be 5-star if the manufacturer could create a way to allow the latch to expand to a suitable length for each door. As I said, great idea - poor execution.
