The pots and pans are great. I use them on an electric stove without problems. However, don't heat food on high. These create and hold a tremendous amount of heat in the pan, even at moderate heat. You can boil water in the pots as well. **Q: what is the ceramic layer derived from? is it Thermolon?** A: I really don’t know. All I do know is that it’s a really good saucepan. **Q: What are the dimensions of the sauce pan? Please give me the inner diameter, at the bottom of the pan and at the top of the pan.
