Review: Really good option - My hot water tank has been out, so after about 3 days of cold showers, we bought this set so we could get warm showers again and wash dishes. A few thoughts/ observations: -Make sure to follow the instruction and DO NOT allow the water to run out while using the pump. Always make sure to turn it off before reaching the end, and refill your water supply. Battery life is good! We get about 4 showers and a load of dishes out of one fully charged battery. I do want to note that it takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery, and the directions state that these batteries cannot handle being overcharged, so do not charge overnight! -Water pressure is great for both showers and dishes. But as other users have noted, the shower head can not be turned off and goes through water FAST. We are talking about 1 min for a 5-gallon bucket of water. So I have ended up using the dish sprayer in the shower so I can control the speed and rate of use for the water. This problem could be easily solved by installing a water shutoff valve/ regulator, which I may try in the future. -Suggestion- I recommend having a food or laser thermometer on hand, so you can safely assess water temps before using/ inserting a pump into the water. I am keeping my warmed-up water between about 95 and 105 degrees, and so far no problems with that temp range! -Second suggestion: you also will need about two 3-5 gallon pots to warm your water up in. One is definitely not enough for us, and having two on hand enables you to have some hotter water in the pot you are not actively using that can be mixed with colder water so you can extend your shower time. I do believe this would be a great asset for camping, off-grid use, warm pet showers, or even for those who temporarily need hot water in their house! Update: This device solves the problem of not being able to manage water with the shower wand: Shower Shut Off Valve G1/2" Brass Shower Head Flow Control Valve with Handle Lever G1/2 Universal Size for Shower Arm and Hose ## Features - RECHARGEABLE PORTABLE SHOWER: Come with TWO detachable USB rechargeable batteries separated from the pump. External on/off switch feature, which is an improvement over previous design. No need to immerse the batteries into water, which can protect and enhance the batteries life. - ELECTRIC POWERED SHOWER: Upgraded Version TWO batteries, with battery LED indicator, one battery can work for up to 45-60 minutes with a full charge ,two for up to 90-120 minutes, which can make sure you will have a constant happy shower. The WATER FLOW is up to 1 gal/min (4 L /min),offers ideal and powerful water pressure to help make bathing easier. - PORTABLE OUTDOOR CAMPING SHOWER: Weighs only 25.2 ounce, easy to carry and store in luggage, backpack or car trunk. Perfect for outdoors camping, hiking, kid bathing, pet cleaning, car washing, plants watering, windows and backyard cleaning. - EASY ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION: Just fully submerse the pump in your bucket/tub of water and turn the motor on,it will pumps water from bucket into steady, gentle shower stream and you get a nice flowing shower. - NOTES: Product operate only with water within the temperature range 10℃ to 50℃ (50℉ to 122℉). When you are assembling the product, be sure to put the white O-RING into the water connection or the shower will leak! But they don't last very long. Mine quit taking a charge after 6 or 7 times. When this is new, it kicks ass. But after about 25 -30 uses it clogs up and the batteries just turn to junk. We did a two week camping/beach trip and this was damn near useless by the time we got back. **Q: Is there a trick to the showerhead? Nothing is coming out.** A: Could be several different things. Would need to see your set-up to know for sure, but here is a basic troubleshooting checklist: Has the filter been installed per the included instructions? Is the hose firmly attached to pump and shower head? Is the battery component fully charged and seated in place? Is pump fully submersed in water? Is the pump turned on? Can you hear the pump working? If not, contact the seller for a replacement. If you answer all of these ‘Yes’ and there's still no water coming out, contact the seller for a replacement. **Q: Could someone post where they bought battery replacement, thanks** A: You could search for "shower batteries" on Amazon buy the battery, Battery specification is 2200mAh 3.7V. Hope it's helpful **Q: Are the actual batteries inside the battery packs changeable? Are they 18650 batteries in there?** A: Dear customer, this battery can be rechargeable, and it is 18650 battery in there. Hope this can help you. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Game-Changer for Wilderness Hygiene *by T***N on December 22, 2023* The KEDSUM Portable Shower has completely transformed my dispersed camping experience, and I can confidently say it's a game-changer for those who crave a refreshing shower in the great outdoors. After testing I can think of many more things to use it for!!! The product is exactly what I needed to meet 2 primary goals: #1-a shower for camping #2 an emergency backup for when the grid goes done at a remore cabin. I have used other types of portable showers and an writing my review with that experience in mind. I've used the hanging bag shower (black bag gravity flow) that can also be warmed by the sun for hot water) I have a stainless steel canister shower (manually pump for pressure and can be heated for hot water). Both of those styles perform very well with many positives. What features are really great for the KEDSUM Portable Camp Shower? 1. Compact design, simple, and lightweight. 2. The parts: All the parts are good quality and assemble very easily. 3. It's fixable: With long or very hard use, if a part were to fail or break, like the hose or even a nozzle, these can easily be replaced. One would have to throw it away but many parts are completely fixable by a user. 4. Two types of sprayer are included: more traditional showerhead with no on/off and a hand nozzle with on/off feature (similar to a sink spray). 5. Two battery packs: yes 2. One can be charging while one is in use. 6. If you only have have a solar setup, the batteries are so easy to re-charge. 7. The pump: first off - design - some of these type showers include the battery pack with the pump and therefore is submerged in water too. This design keeps the battery pack outside the container of water. Second, the pump is very quiet. Third, a "nice" flow intensity = not too hard and not too soft. Just right. 8. Adaptable to use with water you supply: as long as the pump is under water you are good to go! 1 gallon bucket, 5 gallon bucket, swimming pool, whatever. 9. If you supply warm water you'll have a warm shower. Because the components are plastic, don't damage the parts by using too hot of water! My advice for camping: Protect the pump. If you intent to use with water in a lake or stream: as a source put the primp in aa fine mesh fabric bag (like panty hose material) to prevent debris from damaging the pump. ## Frequently Bought Together - KEDSUM Portable Shower, Portable Camp Shower Pump with Rechargeable Battery, Portable Shower for Camping, Portable Outdoor Shower Head for Camping, Hiking, Traveling(+ Handheld Sprayer) - NiaoChao 2000W Immersion Water Heater, Portable Electric with 304 Stainless Steel Anti-scalding, Heats up to 5 Gallons of Water in Minutes --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/450655075-kedsum-portable-shower-portable-camp-shower-pump-with-rechargeable-battery](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/450655075-kedsum-portable-shower-portable-camp-shower-pump-with-rechargeable-battery) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
