A Relatively Cheap Gamble (Not Worth It)
I replaced both rear struts with these guys. The right rear strut lasted about a week before it gave out. The left rear is still going strong. Terrible design of the threaded portion. You get this DD drive to clamp on you as you torque down a nylon sleeve locknut. You will need to stack 3x 3/8" washers under the nut that comes with the strut. It is much shorter than the stock but, so you cannot spin it down in to the upper strut mount bracket without some kind of a special tool. You cannot reuse the stock but because the Monroe thread pitch does not match the stock nut. To add injury to insult, the Monroe threaded end is not heat treated. Put too much torque on the threaded end and the DD drive will just twist off.If you have two of these Monroe struts installed that are not defective, the car rides great. They are relatively cheap if you get a bad one. Good luck getting Tenneco to honor the "lifetime warranty". It's hard to get a hold of anyone on their customer support line. When you find the number, you get an endless string of automated prompts and elevator music. Long story short, the lifetime warranty means nothing.Monroe's front quick struts for the Fusion have been nothing short of awesome. If I could do it again, I would probably use Motorcraft rear struts in the back with Monroe quick struts in the front. If Ford offered front quick struts, I would use Motorcraft parts on all 4 corners.Oh, and a word of advice. If you change the rear struts, don't skimp on the upper strut mounts. Chances are they went bad with your old struts. If you reuse the old brackets with new struts, the mounts will show how gone they are. Lots of clunking and rattling. Change the upper strut mounts at the same time as the rear struts!UPDATE: both have blown out just under the 2 year mark (see newer picture). Rod seals are gone as is the oil inside the struts. Just terrible. Monroe used to make decent stuff...

Good price and product
Comes with both lower and upper nuts. Great shock for the value compared to auto part store prices .

Decent but one was damaged
Look at them carefully. It looks like someone ruined the treaded end returned it and Amazon resold it. I had to buy one at the local car part store since the car was on blocks and I needed it the next day.Overall the shocks are decent almost OEM parts. I say almost because the bottom brackets are not threaded but Monroe provides nuts so not a big deal. Car rides great and I’m happy.

Stick to genuine OEM parts. Low quality product.
Visibly lower quality than OE. Noisy immediately after install. Different nut size than OE.
