I used this product on my daughter's hair for dance pictures. She was required to have a high ponytail with curls. I sprayed this product on each small section of hair and wound it around a 1/2 inch curling iron on high. It worked extremely well and did not get too crispy (just enough to keep the curl). It did not get the curling iron sticky at all. I have previously used a different product from a hair salon that was more than twice the price of this stuff, and this works better! Her curls are still in her hair after 2 days! I would definitely recommend this product if you're looking for a curl spray to use in conjunction with a curling iron and you need the curls to stay put- I'm not sure how well it works for loose, soft curls since that was not my goal. There is no noticable smell, either.

I have very fine lifeless hair. This does help hold the curls better than most products I have used. It is very sticky when it is being applied to hair. But makes styling easier and holds curls. The hair does not retain the stickiness after rollers are removed. Difficult to find this type of product in our area (Long Beach CA) most products are to straighten hair. Good product for the price. Will purchase again.

I have been a LONG time user of Redken Hotsets. I have thick curly hair but I blow dry it. Nothing else has ever worked to keep my hair straight (via flat iron) or keep my hair curly (via curling iron) except Hotsets. The price of Redken keeps going up and up so when I happened on this product which was a far bigger bottle than Hotsets and way less expensive, I decided to try it. It works great! I’m a believer! Not sticky. No gross residue. I’ll be buying again!

I tried this spray for the first time this morning with my hot rollers. First thing I noticed was how very sticky it is. Second thing I noticed was the smell. The VERY STRONG smell. It's a perfume smell. And it was not my idea of something I wanted to wear. I continued however, and finished rolling my hair. My hair is short and usually needs to sit about 10 minutes. So, I took the rollers out at that time frame, and there was plenty of curl! The product did do it's job. I was rather pleased at first glance. I finished getting ready and spent another 3o minutes around the house and the smell in my hair seemed to get stronger with each passing minute. My head was starting to hurt. Fast forward to four hours later. I then had a migraine. The odor of this stuff just lingered. To make matters worse, someone asked me if I had changed perfumes. That's embarrassing, when you have to say, "no, it's a new hair product I tried this morning". I could not wait to get home and wash that stuff out of my hair! I consider this a huge waste of money, when you use a product that cost $15 a bottle and only use it once because it smells so bad. Bottom line here is, if you don't mind having this odor in you face and on your head all day, it works great. I just cannot stand the smell. I see NO reason why there was a need to scent this in the first place. But they did, and they went too far!

Best holding rolling spray around

I ordered this hoping it would help with holding the curl after i curled my hair. But it didnt. This product is more like a hairspray. Its sticky and when it dries it leaves my hair hard. Needless to say i cant get a refund. Seller doesn’t offer one. I wont buy anything from this seller again!!!! I wouldnt have given it a 1 star rating but it wouldnt let me continue until i gave a rating. I give it a 0

My local beauty supply store never has this anymore, so I'm happy to get it online! It works great! Really holds in my curls, sometimes even after sleeping!
