I've always carried a Kershaw, so that's my basis of comparison.Never heard of Lothar, but I'm genuinely and sincerely impressed. This knife feels robust with a surprising weight that immediately communicates quality, at least as a first impression. The blade opens nearly as quick as my Kershaw spring assist. It opens incredibly smoothly with those bearings and best of all: no lateral play! The blade is rock steady.The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the handle material. It was advertised as non slip, but it doesn't really feel like that. I'm tempted to find a better material and make some replacements, but even still, it's not enough to even dock a star. Superb value. My concern is that the quality of these knives will start to go down, as most things do, so get this beauty while they're still good!

I have had most likely over 100 folding pocket knives, and so far, this is the best.👌Every one before this ont the clip was VERY POORLY made because they ALL fell apart. None of them would stay tight. Almost a year and still going strong! SEXY blade shape also!

Love this knife if you are a person who loves big knives or you’re a bigger guy who is looking for a knife that doesn’t feel small and petite in your hand. This is the one I have carried this knife around but now for over a year and I’m coming back to write a review because this thing has kept a blade it will sharpen very easily And it has with stood the testing of construction business as I am an independent small business owner and I use this thing daily. I literally take it everywhere. It’s a great product.

Great knife for everyday use. I’m a Customs Officer and use it on a daily to cut boxes etc and it is heavy and sturdy just like I like it.

Bought this knife back in July 19th. First impressions, it was extremely sharp. I was amazed at how well it cut through almost anything. Fast forward today, October 11th. I have used this knife almost daily since my purchase date, it has never let me down, I sharpen it weekly/daily depending on how often I use it. The grip feels extremely comfortable in my hand, and the little blade it has on the opposite end of the knife is amazing. Rarely use that part but it holds up. Quality is actually very good and it hasn't needed any repairs besides sharpening and maybe some oil. I have gotten weird and funny comments about this knife everytime someone ask me "Do you have a knife?". I would definitely recommend this pocket knife.

This is my most carried knife. In my job and day to day life, it is there if I need it in an emergency, work, or just need to slice something. Lock holds up when in use, fits well in the hand, especially if you have larger hands. Design allows comfortable use and lets you apply pressure where you need it, without much concern for breaking. Edge holds it's sharpness well, and sharpens well once you need to pull out the whet stone. It is a heavier knife, so I would recommend carrying in sheath of your choice. I personally carry it in a horizontal leather holder on my belt, for most comfort.

I was very impressed with this knife. This is a solid, solid duty knife. It is very sturdy and well constructed. It has a little bit of weight behind it also. And it came razor sharp. I didn't have to sharpen it once I received it. This is probably the best knife I have bought in my 25 year career.I would absolutely recommend this knife!

I like everything about this knife. Size, weight, and appearance. The action is really smooth, and sturdy. Im thoroughly impressed with-it. This will shave hair off of your arm. Very nice. I cut my pillow case back accident. Yikes.
