Vintage Suede Silver Fabric

I’ve tried literally every brand of suede that is used to suede swing dance shoes, even including cobblers suede, and I keep coming back to using this to suede my dance shoes.It’s not specifically made for that purpose, but my goodness does it work wonders.The reason why I love this so much is because you can dance on ANY floor and still slide.Even sticky bar floors!All you have to do is place the shoe on top of the suede, suede side down and trace it.Or for an even more accurate sueding, you can take the shoe, cover it with the material *suede side up* and rub a pencil or chalk over the outline.Once you have the correct shape, cut out the shoe shape, smooth some Shoe Goo on the shoe (I use a business card to get it in all the cracks) then affix the suede to the bottom.Put the shoes on but don’t walk around, just press your feet to the floor so that the bottoms really get stuck on.Let them dry for a minimum of 5 hours and you’re good to go!It’s a little more difficult to do heels, but as long as you are able to trace the part of the foot bed that touches the floor( it’s not that difficult I promise), you’ll be fine.This is a great buy for as much as you get, I’ve been able to suede as many as 30 pairs of my and my friends dance shoes with one swatch!I don’t know how this works for crafting or sewing, but it’s wonderful for sueding dance shoes and I wholeheartedly recommend it for that purpose.

Wasn't the color that appears on my screen. It wasn't the fabric I was looking for but I can use it for a different project at a later date.

Perfect color, definitely is a taupe/beige/champagne color but that is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Color maybe should be re-titled to reduce confusion

The picture shows grey & the name "silver" should be grey.Instead the fabric was beige & should be called "champagne"!It was not what I ordered or wanted!

The suede is great. Exactly what I expected maybe a bit better. Backing is stretcheable but yet has a lot of integrity. Anyway I will buy again and have already bought again from this seller.
