## Questions & Answers

**Q: The video shows a cross-bar to move the hose side-side when winding.  Photos do not show this. Does the reel have it or not?**
A: I have the 200 ft hose & the reel has no crossbar. It is easy to roll the hose with a little guidance from your free hand.

**Q: Where is the Lot # for the registration requirement?**
A: Lot# should be on the bottom of the rear leg cross member.

**Q: Does the hub have rubber "0" rings ?**
A: Don't know but it spins very easily and does not leak.

**Q: Assembled dimensions, please. If I put this against the wall, how far will the handle stick out?**
A: If you put the reel with the feet against the wall, the front feet come out 26 1/2". If you place it so that it unrolls parallel to the wall (hose connection against the wall) then the crank handle comes out 23 1/2". Hope this is what you were looking for. The reel and all components are of excellent quality, assemble quickly and should last a long time. I am very pleased with mine.

I have never paid this much for a hose reel before but there is SOME truth to the cliche "you get what you pay for". This thing is a marvel. Loaded it with 100' of Giraffe Tools 5/8" hose (very supple) and the combo works like a charm. Smooth and easy to unroll for use and then just as smooth and easy to roll it back up when done. Sturdy and well made; if it lasts like I think it will, it will outlive several of the "cheaper" hose reels. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Loathe spending $100 for a hose reel- but this takes the least amount of space and no rust and it winds hose smoothly and very easily. Has a really nice leader hose too -both ends brass and sleeves to prevent kinks. Well thought out design.Doesn’t move around when winding the hose. No leak connections. Fits 100’ hose with not much room to spare.Well made, smooth winding and sturdy.YES RECOMMENS -Buying one for back yard too

I recently needed to replace our backyard hose reel. The one we had was cracked and wobbly. Since we don’t really need one on wheels, I was curious about this model of the Gorilla line of hose reels. They are pricey compared to the plastic ones you can pick up anywhere, but this thing is solid as a rock. When unwinding or reeling the hose back in, the Gorilla doesn’t wiggle or move out of place. It is lower to the ground than some other ones but that is not a big deal unless you would have back issues. It was not especially difficult to assemble; if you’ve had some experience following directions and assembling things it will not be a problem. All of the bolts and even a couple of extra ones were included as well as the hex tool needed, and the holes lined up perfectly with each other. I expect this hose reel to last for many years, even in the South Louisiana heat.
