I really like this bowl. Has a rustic finish, good size for a fruit bowl. The color may vary, just be aware.

This bowl came with a large chip in the corner that looked like it must have been cracked before shipment, as it was reasonably well-packed. While the description said it was safe for food, I took a damp paper towel to it after it came out of the box, and red stain came off....and not just a little. Not sure I want to put food in this! I should have read the reviews. Very disappointed.

I added this beautiful wooden dough bowl to my coast cottage breakfast / dining table to add a vintage look. It is a sturdy, well crafted dough bowl and looks perfect with my decor. I would recommend this product whether you have a coastal cottage or farmhouse vibe you are looking for, works well filled with seashells or moss balls, so many options.

Not finished like other wood bowls I own. It’s very rustic. I don’t feel it’s food safe quality.

Great size and color!

Opened the box and was immediately bummed. The bowl is ok, but the finish was not anything like the pictures shown. The pictures show depth and variations in the wood which IMO gives it character and makes it look more authentic. Well, it was flat brown stain and totally uniform all over, just a plain brown bowl. Meh.I ended up using some very fine (320) grit sandpaper and lightly brushed the edges and sides to try and create some “wear” and depth. It helped, but it still is nothing like pictured and personally, I don’t think it’s worth the $50 I paid for it. I’m keeping it because I do like the size and depth (measurement depth) of it and that was hard to find. But if I could go with a different size, I’d probably return and find something else.

Was looking for a dough bowl that was safe for food to use as a fruit bowl for a present for my daughter. This was the only one on line that did not say “decorative only”. It was a bit crude and a darker wood than I would have preferred but unique and safe! Used mineral oil so keep from drying. My daughter liked the farmhouse look!

Don’t trust the sellers photos! Poor quality, color looks like a flat deck stain with no variation or grain. Much smaller then I thought. Perfect size for the back of a toilet. Mine came with cracks & weird cuts on the edges. Not worth the money!
