Smells natural - no parabens, no BS - it smells of botanical oils and such... and similarly feels the same - like natural ingredients... And it works wonders. I was able to poop the next few days like I never had any problems - I was shocked how quickly my pooping went well - no problems no issues and I even dared eat few things that I usually never eat, like toasts etc... Highly recommend. Yes they are a little hard to open - but given the quality and the benefits - please just pull a little harder - you can do it ;) Get these babies for all your family members - I am never going back to H-prep...

When it comes to medical supplies, I have utmost trust for made in Israel. However, this one was a disappointment as it has shown no effect after a few use. Preparation H's are a lot more effective even though they are nothing but cocoa butter. One reviewer noted that he/she could not open the package, and I too found it very difficult to open (a pair of scissors may help). I take hemorrhoidal relief seriously (a surgical removal would be the best, but as the cost of a surgery in the U.S is a joke, I have to keep it under control with OTC medicines). I use suppositories before going to sleep, and during the day I use cream. For pain, Preparation H's Lidocaine version works fastest (probably the most expensive too). For itchiness, Preparation H's Hydrocortisone version works best. Lastly, a doctor's prescribed version beats anything else. In the past, I had a hideous hemorrhoid. It was so painful that I ended up going to an emergency room (it felt like my rear-end was being stabbed with a knife). No medicine helped. However, a suppository prescribed by the doctor worked like magic and terminated the pain with mere one use.

So I just had a baby a week ago and I started feeling discomfort and decided to try these out. Received yesterday afternoon so did one suppository. Then today I did another in the morning around 8am and around 930am I went to the bathroom and it was easy to go and didn’t hurt thank goodness. I hope it helps more with the swelling but so far it’s helped go to the bathroom without a strain

These need to be refrigerated or frozen. I prefer to do the latter The stiff plastic sides, at the pointy end of the suppository, need to be slowly and carefully peeled away from each other. Small pointed scissors can be used to rectify any split in the plastic. Otherwise these are very good suppositories. They’re effective, moisturizing, smell really good, and are a great healthy and economical alternative to what is otherwise available.

These have an odor and do have some sort of tingly oil. Didn't get much relief. Not my favorite probably won't purchase again.
