Got this for our home to put different personal valuables in to store and to protect from damage mainly. Was looking for something that can resist fire and water, in case if there's a fire or sprinklers going off. It's very sturdy but also light at the same time. It's ideal especially for this price as well. Great piece of equipment.

Love the size of this security box and heavier body to it. Sized up to slightly bigger box and holds all my important papers in one place so I can get to them fast if I need to. Picked the beige color to me it was brighter to see in a dark area. A easy to use better security lock on it and a nice handle compare to my old one. I would recommend this security box to buy. You won’t be disappointed!

This box steel is thick, durable, fireproof & comes with 2 keys.. This box is large enough to store important legal paperwork, yet sturdy and roomy enough to secure, store & hide away precious metals or Rx medications, etc. (but are not waterproof enough to bury items). I bought two because they are not flimsy, yet they’re more portable than standing cabinet home safes & can readily carry, hold & transport 20+ lbs. of contents weight.

My hubby is the most disorganized creature to walk the earth! Anytime we need last year's taxes, or pay stubs, or birth certificates, it is a mad dash through boxes of fru-fru, trying to gather what is needed. Well, that ends today with this beautiful, roomy, surprisingly sturdy lock-box, which can now accommodate everything from our marriage certificate to our passports to tax returns to the family jewels. Then it can be stored handily on a closet self or floor, or in the bottom of a drawer, or if one wants to get REAL kitchy, under the floor boards. Being fireproof, it is safe from that kind of damage. It is quite substantial, as mentioned previously, so if one's evil nephew trying to break into it to peek at the Will's contents, would have a rough go trying to break into it! The price was certainly reasonable and it was certainly more convenient than the 150 lb locked file cabinet that it replaced! Definitely a winner here!

I absolutely love the box great sturdy box, good size, But the lock and the keys do not work!! I seem to always get the lock box where there is always something wrong with the lock then you have to spent time trying to contact someone to replace because of course i want the box just not the hassle to send it back. Taking time out of out of my busy day to send it back, to wait a week to hopefully get one works. Mind you i am disabled so it is even a bigger deal and live in the boon docks.

It’s a nice lock box. Smaller so doesn’t hold a ton of things but would hold your most important documents I do believe. Returned because it was just big enough I couldn’t find anyplace to concur you keep it. It would fit under most beds though. Mine is really low. I don’t know how fire safe I think it is. Would be good to hold some medications if you want it for that. It could hold quite a few. Or other valuables maybe. Opens by key so don’t lose your key! It is portable. Easy to use. And good value for the money.

Love this security box. For what I need it for, it's perfect. My only drawback would be how heavy it is to carry around when traveling. And I wish it came with a cover of some type over it so that everyone around me doesn't see that I'm carrying a portable 'safe' with me...I feel that makes me a target, even though what I have to keep in there isn't of that much value to anyone but me. But, I've found a large bag to tote it around in, so I think that will work fine.It's fairly well built, but anyone who REALLY wants to get into it probably could with the right tools. That being said, for what it costs, I think it is an excellent value for the money. I haven't had any issues with getting into it with the code system. The instructions say that when the batteries start to go low that a red light will tell me. I hope that works, because it's not as if I check it every single day, and I've thrown out the keys so that no one else will ever be able to get into it except me, since the code I programmed is one that no one else would ever guess. Here's hoping that the 'red light' for low batteries is a really long-lasting one!Overall, I don't think you'll be disappointed with this security box within this price point. If you need something more heavy-duty, then be prepared to spend much more.

This is a great security box that measures 10.5"x12.75"x5.25" (outside) and 9.25"x12.0"x4.5" (inside) approximately. It fits a spiral notebook nicely. It comes with two keys. There are no holes for bolting it to anything. I will be modifying this box with a few enhancements like heavy duty hasps and key (or combination) locks then attaching it with a chain to a permanent object. Costs would probably be less than $50 after the modifying.
