The thick,soft, smooth texture is amazing! Color is perfect and not too shiny. It appears well made and so far, not much smell. But I did open windows and front door for ventilation, as per package instructions. It was well packed and arrived safe and sound in a timely manner. I live across the map in Virginia. We built our Dream House 13 years ago, and I had tried 4 precious rugs, non of which "did justice" to compliment my Old Hollywood/ Vintage theme Parlor. IT is Perfect!! I can also see it used in a cozy Den or bedroom for added warmth and comfort. It feels great under bare feet, especially when I need to rest these 62 year old legs! So many shag rugs to choose from on amazon, and most have at least some very bad reviews, mostly due to shedding or a foul chemical smell . This rug doesn’t have either of those issues. It’s so plush, smells clean, and extremely soft to walk on. I almost bought a mat to put underneath it so it would be softer to walk on, but I swear this rug does not need that. It’s very thick. I’m so happy I went with this rug. Huge kudos to the ones who made this, it’s very high quality and a very reasonable price. Thanks so much!

Gorgeous, it is so thick and the color is so beautiful. It's also sturdy it's in my 16 year old sons room who has it under his bed but it sticks out about a foot and a half on all sides, so getting in and out of bed daily, bookbags, sports equipment and the occasional sitting of him and his 6'4" 300 pound body building brother who will use it to sit on while playing video games has not damaged it at all. I'll be ordering one for my bedroom and also my walk in closet. I cannot get over how beautiful it is, even his teenage guy friends mention how nice his rug is lol

Great company, they refunded a ship back with a wrong color issue. Note, they are a litter lighter than the photos. BUT! Read the headline, this rug is killer. It's super soft, great quality, and a super great price. You won't be disappointed.
