They came in nice packaging. These are probably the nicest knives you can get for the price. They fit well in your hand. Only bad thing is don’t clean them with the rough side of a sponge to avoid micro scratches.

This complete knife set has served me well over the last year. It has all the knives you could need for cooking and preparing meals, and the six serrated steak knives were a perfect complement to my silverware. I really appreciated the bonus, smaller kitchen scissors because I am guilty of cutting food bags, meat packages, and (sometimes) the occasional Amazon package open with whatever I have on hand in the kitchen. With this set, I was able to dedicate the smaller scissors to those tasks and keep the larger scissors exclusively for food. Admittedly, I probably don't cook as much as others, but even with the tasks I have put these knives through, I haven't felt the need to sharpen any yet - I am excited to do so, though, because the built-in sharpener is extremely convenient. The product description claims these knives are stainless, but I had my doubts because the description also calls them "high-carbon." I exclusively hand-washed these as a preventative measure, although my poor scissors are starting to show rust stains where the blades are attached. While my engineering expertise is not in metallurgy (I'm a semiconductor guy), I know that it is difficult to keep blade steel stainless with high carbon content because the high carbon content forms too much chromium carbide, leaving too little chromium for the stainless levels of corrosion resistance. So while I don't doubt the claim of "stainless steel" (which really only requires 10.5% - 12% chromium in the alloy), I am certain these knives lack true stainless levels of corrosion resistance (since the carbon is likely hogging most of the chromium in the form of chromium carbide). This is the same issue D2 steel has, for example. Overall, I am very impressed. This is a very solid budget option for a knife set. I plan to continue using these for the next year or two, and hopefully they will last until I settle into a permanent home and can invest in a more premium set.

These well crafted knives are an elegant focal feature for glam kitchens. The knives look great and feel great, with white and gold esthetics they are very pleasing to the senses. The small steak knives are a work of art, they have a gorgeous gold near lacquered finish on them, they look extremely high end. They feel perfectly balance in the hand. Even if you are a vegetarian the small serrated knives cut through salads and warms rolls or pizza perfectly! No more mashing your food to death, these blades cut pleasingly through food preserving the artistry of the dish through to the last bite! These knives are perfection! If I was going to give them an award they would get the Glam kitchen award for excellence in design and cutlery. I think the manufacturer of this product really thought of us especially with the bonus scissors, one set can be used for clipping herbs like cilantro and mint outdoors, the other can be used for cutting fresh pasta in doors. Thank you for the amazing glam-gold knives and knife block with sharpener and bonus scissors. Life would be so much sweeter if all products were created as thoughtfully to the consumer as this one, because they thought of space, ergonomics, quality of materials, cost, and in the event a pair of kitchen shears are lost or broken, they included a bonus. Not to mention a gorgeous aesthetic!. Great job!

A very nice set of knives.

I have had these knives for almost 4 years, and they still work excellently. I really like them. I will repurchase them once the ones I have give out.

Entire set rusted in just a few short weeks. Definitely not stainless steel. Will try to return.
