I have used a lot of wax and Ceramic coatings, and I would say this is very good, but not the best. So far the FW1 cleaning wax ,has been the best I have ever used. I find that SHINE ARMOR, and Plane Perfect are about the same. Of course I have not used the Ceramic coating that cost $100 +, which I think is way over priced and will not go there. Plane Perfect, and the FW1 wax are priced about the same. Each person has his or her own preference, but seeing is believing.

Applies easily and goes quite a long way. Leaves a nice sheen. I did about one and a half planes with one bottle so I ordered another bottle to finish and for touch up when I fly. Keeps the bugs off and makes for easier cleaning after flying. Still need to see how long an application lasts.

I’m using 1 on the forward surfaces of my Cessna and it does a very good job of reducing the amount of bugs that normally stick to my wings and cowl. And the ones that do get smashed clean up notably easier with an easy wipe down. It works great on my windows too. Besides just cleaning off the grime it makes it so the hangar dust doesn’t stick to the Lexan. It just blows right off on engine start. Excellent product and I will be buying more.

One of the better ceramic detailers I’ve used and the price isn’t bad. I tend to buy most of them and some last longer than others. I’ve been using this as a quick after wash or between washings and it works well. Still waiting to see how long it lasts haven’t found any that live up to their claims. This is worth the money. Edit #1 … Since writing this original review I purchased a 2021 Challenger T/A. The roof / trunk are wrapped in black and the stripes are vinyl black. While there are special detailers and sprays for matte black and it is supposed to be bad to use this recently I tried it on the stripes, roof and trunk. I was quite surprised it wiped on and off with no streaks and doesn’t seem to change the matte finish much. I’m still in testing mode but I will update my findings down the road. So far I’m real happy with the results.
