Review: Into challenging? this book can be a great deal of fun! - If you have the right expectations, this book can be a great deal of fun! The idea is that you color in areas according to a color key and reveal an architectural landscape. In addition there is a page of thumbnail coloring guides to the design. This is a very large format coloring book - almost 11 by 15 inches, with the design on single-sided, perforated pages. There are 20 different designs, in a range of complexities, though most are fairly complex. Things to consider if you are thinking of getting this book: --the individual areas to color can be quite small, the size of a match head in some. With the large page size, it will require some sustained effort to finish an image. So if you like quick-to-complete designs, you may find it frustrating. If you like a prolonged coloring project though, this will likely satisfy. --between the small areas to color and the fact that the outlines and color number are printed in a very light gray (so as not to interfere with your finished colored page), you will want to have very good light to work on the designs. You may also want a piece of cardboard underneath to help stabilize the book as you work, if you don't have a desk/table to work on. With the very light gray lines, this is not a coloring book for someone with poor eyesight, problems with eyestrain, or low lighting situations. -- if you really want to get fairly close to the colors in the color keys, you'll need many more than just primary colors, or patience with mixing, Some of the designs are very geometric and pattern-like - almost like a quilt, and others more realistic but still stylized, like a graphic travel poster A nice selection of buildings from around the world. CONTENTS: Shanghai skyline, China Dubai skyline, United Arab Emirates Tokyo skyline, Japan The Great Mosque of Djenne, Djenne, Mali Christ the Redeemer, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Seattle skyline, WA, USA Hallgrimskirkja, Reykjavik, Iceland The Louvre, Paris, France The Taj Mahal, Agra, India The Colosseum, Rome, Italy Rialto Bridge, Venice, Italy The Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Istanbul, Turkey Westminster Palace, London, United Kingdom Kinkakuji (The Golden Pavilion), Kyoto, Japan Cologne Cathedral, Cologne, Germany The Winter Palace, St. Petersburg, Russia Azadi Tower, Tehran, Iran Eiffel Tower, Paris, France Market Square, Wroclaw, Poland Salzburg, Austria Copenhagen seafront, Denmark Milan Central Train Station, Milan, Italy Brandenburg Gate, Berlin, Germany Tyn Church, Prague, Czech Republic Sydney skyline, Australia Burano island, Italy New York skyline, NY, USA The Chrysler Building, New York, NY, USA Ndelbele painted houses, South Africa St. Basil's Cathedral, Moscow, Russia Review: Wow, the color and detail! - What a challenge!! I am thoroughly enjoying it. I have been working on the first image for a couple of days, which is the Seatle Space Needle. So many spaces to color and 14 different colors (15 if you include "white"). Each page in the book is a different cityscape. One city per page, but thin enough for bleed through so be aware. I am using Bic Markers ultra fine and bleed through is constant. They will be greatnto hang when completely!! I found my self calm and thinking as I color this. Great books for a meditation I find. What a sense of accomplishement when completed, too. I am half way there!

Great book if you like detail & color by number
This is the second time I've bought this book. I'll probably buy it again eventually. I love small detailed color work. The city pictures are great.

Such a delicious challenge with beautiful results - for experienced, patient colorists.
My favorite series of color by number books. Half are repeating shapes of which one is triangles and the others divided between squares and hexagon. The other half are 'mosaic' types. I much prefer to use Prismacolor and Holbein pencils which require less hand pressure. The buildings in the mosaic pictures have fiendishly tiny details so I had to choose from firmer pencils such as Marco Raffine, Marco Renoir, Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor, Caran d'ashe which limit how much time I can spend coloring each day. Printed on one side on heavy paper, perforated for easy removal; I pull each one out and work on an 11 x 15 clipboard. I had preordered this and it arrived by August 1, and 3 months later I have a few half done and 5 still waiting. I saved my favorites. The only 'dud' is the Eiffel tower; with its hideous red-white-blue sky I can't bring myself to color it. Yet I'm sad to be nearing the end of this book and wondering how long until the next one. I wish they would publish a new one every 6 months!

Good pics
Nice challenge with big pics easy to color. Good subject matter and loved the number of pics for the price. Enjoyed it more than most in a while.

A winner!
Another winner from the color quest cbn series. I love love love the paper! I love the large size of the pictures because it keeps you busy for hours and if you wanted to frame it, itโs a nice size and looks really pretty. But the best part is that thereโs all different kinds of cbn pictures. You have squares, hexagonal, mosaic style, etc so whatever youโre in the mood for the book has it. Printed on one side of the page

Color by Number for Adults!!!
I absolutely love these books!! If you color & are thinking about giving color by number a whirl , be prepared to be addicted!!!! Or if you are just looking to add to your Color Quest books, you will not be disappointed!!! I travel a lot so this is one of my favorite Color Quest books! With Color Quest , your picture is a mystery until you are finished. You might have an idea half way through coloring that you may be seeing the Empire State Building but it is not until you are completely finished that you know for sure & all the little details come to life!!! Coloring is most relaxing for me & helps me escape from my stressful day at work. Color Quest books are my favorite!!!

Ganz tolles Buch

Perfect!
Great book - for some reason it is bigger than anticipated, making it easier to use ! This is a gift for someone but I looked through it and am jealous and want one myself ! Bigger than A4. So pretty and well layed out! Just wished the site gave the option to buy the pencils that go with as the ones i bought separately are not 100% an exact colour match :) Perfect and would recommend !
