Are there different color options for the button lighting?

No. You can adjust the intensity. But that’s it. But trust me. The few buttons it has are so tiny. You will not even notice them enough to care about the color. This is an awesome head unit and I don’t regret it one bit.

Which of the parts provided would fit 2008 Toyota highlander? Does it have steering wheel controls adapter for it?

The dash frame will allow the unit to go into most any vehicle and the steering wheel controls will work as they should. iN my 2010 F-150 the next song works and the volume works from the steering wheel what doesn't work is for the hand free phone use, but the unit an Alpine NE W960 will intercept the phone call and stops the music while the call continues
