it had a little bit of everything and kept me guessing as to how it would end. One of the best K-dramas I have watched. I absolutely loved it and I know I will watch it several times over.

Love this show. It is a very well-written story, and the actors are amazing. I love Park Eun-Bin, she is beautiful and doing great in Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

Beautiful Series. Story, actors, costumes and especially the music. Marvelous.

Didn't know what to expect on this one when I first started watching. I started to realize it was really interesting, dramatic, funny, and romantic. Has some interesting modern music at the romantic scenes, but it somehow works with the feudal times. There were some rather interesting and unusual aspects such as, does the tutor understand that the Prince is a girl? You have to surmise that he does suspect this...some may interpret it differently, but it seems obvious, he knew. Anyway, the cast selection was impeccable. The main actress Park Eun Bin , I think that's her name, is a phenom! Wow. She also plays an autistic lawyer in another series. Anyway, this feudal series had me tearing up, laughing, and kept me in suspense. And, hmmm... Lee Hyun Sook, if that's the co-writer of this script, this would be my actual cousin! 🤔😃

The pictures in the film are not very clear , was disappointed

This is my family's favorite show on Netflix ever. I'm here because I'm thinking about buying the DVD in support of this quality series. It's a beautiful tale of historical intrigue which introduced us to an ancient and mysterious world we got hooked on fast. Some episodes we've watched 3 or 4 times. The scenery and theme songs are haunting and enhance the deep, often restrained emotions of the complex characters. The dialogue is minimal and profound, mirroring ancient Confucian ideals often discussed by the King and his beloved tutor. There is swordplay violence, but the gore is minimal. Important "Elephant in the Room" information: There is zero physical intimacy on display nor is any implied as happening "off screen". Only fully clothed, closed mouth kisses at key dramatic moments. In no way are these scenes gratuitous or vulgar. In our family's view, the tutor becomes confused about his strong feelings toward the prince and is ultimately overjoyed to discover the prince is a woman. btw, This series aired in many censorship countries with extremely strict "morality laws", including China and Iran. This fact speaks volumes. So for a reviewer to call this excellent series as "definitely supporting homosexuality" is ridiculous.

Bought this dvd of the king’s affection as its a very good film and story 20 episode so far she as watched it six times thank you very much
