Worked very well for fixing a stripped hole for a bolt that held on the idler pulley on my wife’s car. The kit included everything I needed and everything went smoothly, first time I’ve done something like this. It seems sturdy and the tools felt like good quality.

What a kit. I want one in every size. Every tool in the kit worked great. Made installation of my bar studs are stripping then out easy. This kit was fully compatible came with every piece I needed for the entire job minus the drill*. Everything was a perfect fit, the system was solid. Sealed right. What a versatile kit I can't wait to use on other projects

I used these to repair the fork bolts on my bike (one bolt broke-off, the other had the head completely stripped). After drilling out the old bolts, everything went smoothly until I put the coil into the hole and tried to break-off the tab. Normally you screw-in the new coil, then reverse the tool to snap-off the end of the coil (that would be blocking the bolt), and it should pop relatively easily. The first coil I put in, the end would not snap-off... and it was critical that it did since the bolt would have to pass all the way through the new coil. I had to remove the coil (no easy task) and try again. Luckily the next one worked better, but it was still tougher than the Heli-Coil kits I've used before. They definitely need to notch those ends better. Aside from that, I had zero issues and the new threads are working as intended.

Worked just fine would buy again

I ended up ordering a second kit because I broke the tap in the first kit. I had to tap 4 holes out of 8 in my chases for my plow mount. I used a t handle to make the first hole in the outer side of the chases and when I went to make tap the second hole on the outer side I didn't have enough room to turn the t handle and it was going in crooked and I try a few times to straiten it out but the tap broke in the hole. So I ordered a new set and while I was on amazon I looked for another method of taping the hole and found this set(Ratcheting Tap Socket Set 2pcs with Adjustable Jaws - 3/8" Drive Tap Holder for Tight Spaces, Compatible with Taps, Reamers, Screw Extractors (#6-1/2")​,Cr-Mo Steel) and purchased it. This made the job so much easier. The thread repair kit worked very well and now I have a good supply of helicoils.
