Nordic Ware BPA-free and Melamine Free Plastic Splatter Microwave Cover, 10-Inch (Set of 2), Clear

My first thought was it seems thin and fragile, easily breakable. However; so far so good. We use this product daily. No mess no nothing. It's simple fits the plates well seems to be just the right size, easily washable and it gets used constantly. More importantly, the wife loves it, no more microwave explosions to clean! I think it was the chili incident that prompted me to buy this item and yes it was I that did it. I now have my microwave privileges restored as long as I use this cover. We have yet to accidentally drop it to see how it stands up to that. Other than that, I can't find a single reason not to own one of these if you own a microwave you will love this product!UPDATE: Nordic Ware says its BPA free! enough with the BPA warnings they do not apply to this product. We have used this for 7 months now without issue! Seems like the vast majority of the reviews agree this is a great product. Sure there will always be a few people who encounter some sort of issue. I stand behind my recommendation at least until I run into any issue. I doubt I will but rest assured I will tell you about it. I will buy another if I ever need to. My favorite complaint was "it wont vent if you stack a dish on top of it". Hmmm, ya think? Of course it wont vent your covering the vent hole. Lets try and remember our reviews need to be fair or they are not helpful! Let's not blame the product for our stupidity. It's 11" people. It states that clearly. Those of you who are complaining, "it's not large enough for your plates". OK never mind I give up. You can't please everyone. However; like I said nearly all of us who reviewed this product love it! I'm not trying to put people down, I'm just trying to remind everyone reviews only work if they are fair and honest! If you have issues, fine tell us. Just make sure it's the products fault and not your own stupidity. Amend your review that are unfair to the company. Lets do our best to keep this review forum helpful and not allow it to become a useless sounding board like most of the others have been reduced too.Update: 3 years and it is still like new! This is worth a 5 star rating what was I thinking giving it 4 stars? I changed it to 5!update nearly 5 years old! This things awesome!update 7 years and still perfect. These microwave plate covers are great! They are sturdier that the ones we used to have. They are a must have for keeping your microwave splatter free

This has a bit heavier plastic than what I’ve experienced in the past. Does a great job and cleans up easily.

I'm happy with this purchase. I use these a lot and love that I no longer have food splatter all over my microwave and have to spend time scrubbing it clean! The shape and width are a good size and fits comfortably over my plates and dishes. The height is reasonable however sometimes the top of the inner part rest on my food which I don't like so the height of it could be just a little higher but it's not a huge inconvenience. The dish is very easy to clean.

We've been using this microwave cover for years. I bought these for my brother. Works great. Cleans easily. No complaints. Also, easier to pick up than the one at the grocery store - nice "handle".

These are great and keep your microwave clean.Easy to use and clean. Very lightweight. I store mine right in the microwave. Everyone in the family has one and loves it.

Just what I'd hoped for; Very sturdy, works well. Nice looking as well.

Wish I’d bought this years ago. It keeps the lid off of the countertop and off of my stove where I’ve actually burned previous lids in the past. And the price is right so yeah can’t beat it. Highly recommend.
