Another quality razer product
I got this for myself for use with my gaming pc i have another razer mini keyboard which i love however i wanted a full-size keyboard for a few games but that was not going to break the bank, but that was the quantity i would expect. Enter Razer’s Ornata V3 Low Profile Mecha Membrane switches, which offers clicky keystrokes with a soft touch. It arrives in the normal branded Razer package shown The Razer Ornata V3 is a decent gaming keyboard. It's comfortable to use thanks to the ergonomic features and included wrist rest. You can also customize the RGB backlighting and program macros to any key using the companion software. The keyboard has dedicated media switches which are also backlit, the magnetic wrist rest is good and offers good support. The keyboard is Chroma RGB so can be controlled with the Razer software, as can be seen in the video. However, the pre-travel distance on the mecha-membrane switches is somewhat long, so keypresses don't feel instantaneous, the latency isn't fast enough for competitive or reaction-based games, however is okay for casual gaming, and for what i use it for also, including typing this review. Over all it’s a good good keyboard if your just starting out gaming at a good price with the normal Razer quality happy to recommend.

Rather impressed -
So far I am rather impressed with my choice of keyboard, the noise levels of the keys are manageable, the magnetic hand rest is appreciated, and it was simple to install.

Low-profile hybrid with excellent ergonomics and aesthetics
The Razer Ornata V3 is a well-executed evolution of Razer’s hybrid mecha-membrane concept, this time with a low-profile chassis and improved key feel. Coming from a mechanical background, I was pleasantly surprised by the balance of tactility, quietness, and speed this keyboard offers. Technical notes and observations: • Switches: Hybrid mecha-membrane (domed membrane actuators with clicky mechanical stabilizers). The keypress feels tactile and crisp, though quieter and softer than full mechanical. Actuation force feels around 55 g with moderate pre-travel, making it suitable for both gaming and typing. • Keycaps: UV-coated ABS keycaps resist shine effectively and maintain a clean look after prolonged use. Legends remain clear even under heavy backlighting. • Chassis: Low-profile design significantly reduces wrist angle strain compared to full-height boards. • Wrist rest: The included magnetic soft-touch wrist rest is lightweight but stays firmly in place, with enough cushioning for hours of use. • Lighting: Razer Chroma RGB per-key lighting, fully programmable through Synapse software. Effects are smooth and brightness is uniform. Build and usability: The Ornata V3 feels more refined than its predecessors. The board is light yet rigid, with minimal flex and good build quality. The keys are quiet enough for shared spaces, yet still feel satisfying to type on. The shorter key travel helps with fatigue during longer sessions, and the full UK layout with numpad makes it equally suited to productivity work. Pros: • Tactile and quiet hybrid switches • Low-profile ergonomic design • Durable UV-coated keycaps • Excellent RGB lighting and Synapse integration • Comfortable magnetic wrist rest Cons: • Hybrid feel may not satisfy hardcore mechanical purists • No dedicated macro keys • No onboard memory, relies on Synapse for custom profiles Conclusion: The Razer Ornata V3 strikes a great balance between comfort, style, and functionality. The hybrid switches deliver a distinctive experience that is superior to standard membrane while staying quieter and less fatiguing than full mechanical switches. Highly recommended for gamers and office users who want a quiet, low-profile keyboard without sacrificing tactility or aesthetics.

A pleasure to type and game on
The Mrs was very happy with this keyboard. A nice low profile a firm sharp click that isn't too loud but has a good feedback. Good customising options in the app. Great for gaming and general typing

Good
I like it I like how you can change the colours etc. Only thing I don't like is if anyone touches the keys while the pc is off the lights turn on and don't turn off again till you turn on computer and shut down again. Feels nice to type with though.

Far from ideal for a gaming keyboard
The Razer Ornata V3 looks like a great budget option, but unfortunately will not be the best option for many people. The keyboard itself is easy to set up, as are most Razer products. Integration with Razer Synapse is great, and the keyboard itself is relatively lightweight with the expected full-sized functionality. Build quality is about expected for the price point, not a premium build, but also not a premium price. My issues with the Ornata V3 came in two factors. Firstly, the noise. The keycaps included on this keyboard are incredibly loud and clicky. However, as this is a budget keyboard, the sound is not all that satisfying, and sometimes bordered on annoying if I was not wearing headphones. Secondly, because of the noise, any typing would be picked up on my microphone, flooding calls with loud keyboard clicking. My second issue was the N-Key rollover, or lack thereof. Anti Ghosting/N-Key Rollover allows multiple buttons to be pressed at the same time without cancelling each other out, an almost essential part of any gaming keyboard. The Razer Ornata V3's anti-ghosting tech is severely lacking, to the point where you, like myself, may be unable to properly play the games you wish to play. Whilst the Ornata V3 is decently made for the price, alongside having an attractive design, great media keys and RGB functionality, it fails dismally as a gaming keyboard, and creates a tonne of noise too. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. I returned this product and opted for the more expensive Razer Huntsman V2 instead
