Good wire, NOT molded together
This is good wire. Perhaps I missed something in the description, but I expected the red and black to be molded together (like lamp cord or "zip" wire). They are separate wires that are simply would together on the same spool. This makes it a little more interesting when running the two together through tubing, holes, etc. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.

Excellent Quality Product!
Each individual strand is fully tinned copper (as shown in the photo), with non-molded silicone insulation. Didn’t know that such quality conductors could still be bought. At first, I almost thought they shipped aluminum wire, which was about to make me really upset...that’s how the photo came to be. If you look at the crimp across the strands, you can see the copper showing through the tinned coating. Stripped about a foot of it, just to make sure. Haven’t seen this grade of wire in many, many, many years. Yes, it’s pricey, but it’s worth it. Even the packaging is top notch.

EXACTLY as described. High quality, super flexible, copper wire.
I purchased this product to use for making custom test leads. I always check wire construction and material when I receive it, and I was pleased to find this wire exactly as described. The wire is super flexible and perfect for test leads. The wire, as described, is high strand count tinned copper. (See photo.) What this means is that it is very flexible and not as prone to strand breakage as lower strand count or other materials. As I tinned the ends, I observed that there was no visible shrinkage or burning of the insulator, which is consistent with Silicone. So for 50' (total red + black) of 16Ga. wire, the value is fantastic. I would highly recommend.

16 Gauge copper wire in a flexible outer coating
I have always used Pomona connectors and wire to make test leads and instrument accessories but the price keeps climbing and is almost out of reach so I decided to give this wire a try. Initially, I ordered 18 Gauge wire but the wire was too thin overall because of the coating (not the wire gauge). I sent it back and ordered 16 Gauge and that felt more substantial and worked well for making the test leads. Overall, I am happy with the wire for making test leads. Now, I wish I could find a quality substitute for Mueller Alligator Clips without the high price tag. The Chinese alligator clips are amongst the worst ever imagined.

appears to be high quality wire
Both the insulation and the wire within appear to be of high quality materials. These are made for test lead use of other application where high flexibility are key. This wire does that very nicely - the silicone insulation is very flexible, and very heat resistant. The cable within is very high wire count of very fine wires, for maximum flexibility. Silicone is not known for its cut resistance, so this would not be the best choice for installations where abrasion or impact might be an issue. For test lead type use, this wire seems to be excellent and made of high quality material.

It's ok.
I wasn't really a huge fan of this wire, but it's ok. It's very flexible as it's silicone insulation, but it's a bit thick for my liking and the insulation is soft and probably easily susceptible to the insulation getting cut through if it rubs against something kinda sharp, so keep that in mind with whatever you're using it for. I also feel like it may melt easy against any significant heat source.

These are two separate wires that are not glued together.
These are two separate wires that are not glued together. They took a loose red and a loose black wire and rolled it on a single roll. It is beyond my understanding why you would do that, it just doesn't make sense to me.I expected these two be two wires that are connected together in the middle, to use always in tandem. If I wanted two wires that aren't connected, I would have bought two individual rolls. If you have both wires glued together in the middle, you could still split them if you would want individual wires (e.g. at the end where you connect the cable to a device).

Excellent choice for fog lights or auxilliary lighting on car
Very flexible and heat resistant wire for use in an engine compartment for any extra lighting or other electrical additions you want to make. Strips easily and is easy to work around corners or through small openings. Solders well for the connections and is of a large enough gauge to be secured by twist wire connectors or crimps.
