Lonely Planet Iceland's Ring Road

We loved this guide as we circled the Ring Road in March. Great detours are accurately highlighted. Clear, useful maps and essential insights for drivers! Some sights are not well marked with road signs, so a guide like this is essential. Everything we needed for our road trip- I don’t understand why some other guides are so thick.

Bought this for my son who took a trip to Iceland with his girlfriend hiring a camper van and doing a mini-tour. Highly recommended.

I have planned literally dozens of trips throughout the United States and around the world for myself and my family I typically use mostly online searches and information but occasionally go to a book for assistance. It's just everything!I have been struggling to get this trip to line up just right and this guide simplified everything. I scratched all of my previous planning work and started fresh. Within a few hours had everything lined up, booked, planned, and done!If all the lonely planet guides are as good as this they will be my go-to resources from here on out!
