I can't say definitively if it's sifted, but every bag I've bought has had clean, pure product with alfalfa only and no dirt.

How do you take this?

I purchased a tea maker and use it that way. It's loose leaf tea - if you google how to tea from loose leaves, you will get many different options :)

Where is this grown??

I've bought this item several times. it's high quality. Here's a link to Starwest and a phone number https://www.starwest-botanicals.com/category/alfalfa-leaf/
