Review: Best Protein Powder I've Found in Years - I've been drinking protein shakes for a long time, and my all-time favorite was the original Muscle Milk powder from about 20 years ago. Ever since that formula disappeared, I've been trying different brands looking for something that comes close. While it is not exactly the same, Premier Protein Chocolate Milkshake is one of the better powders I've found. The flavor is rich without being overly sweet, and it mixes easily with water or milk. Most importantly, it does not have the chalky texture or strange aftertaste that ruins a lot of protein powders for me. I use it as a quick breakfast, after workouts, or when I need extra protein during the day. The 30 grams of protein and low sugar content are a nice bonus. It also sits well on my stomach, which is something I pay attention to when trying new powders. If you're someone who misses the old-school Muscle Milk formulas, this is worth a try. Nothing has completely replaced those for me, but this has earned a spot in my pantry and I'll keep buying it.

The Chocolate Milkshake flavor is aaahhhhhhmazing! My shakes taste like regular chocolate shakes- rich, creamy, flavorful with NO chemical bite or off putting whey overtones. (My delicious macro-bomb recipe is below.) 4. Fill-factor. After a 32 oz shake I feel full. Yes- Boyle's law holds and pressure is directly correlated to volume. **Q: Anyone who has tried the premixed bottles, how does the taste of this powder compare?**
A: I have always used the premixed bottles. When I seen this I figured I would give it a try since the bottles are sometimes hard to find. I tried it and it was horrible. It was way to thick and chalky. I used almond milk and it wasn't worth it. The pre-made bottles have 160 calories and with the almond milk it would be 230 and it doesn't have the vitamins and minerals so not worth it for me to just get used to it.

**Q: How many 11oz bottles does the power make**
A: Um don't listen to Becca she didnt do her own math right . 
One scoop is only 15g of protein. 
So if you do what she said and take one scoop and add more liquid to make it 11oz it will still only be 15g of protein lol. 
If you wanted to simulate the pre made drinks you woild need two scoops and when adding the water or milk you cut back and only fill ot to the 11oz line. 
You will get 17 servings of this still seeing as you need to use two scoop to get to 30g of protein . You're just making a more concentrated shake by making it 11oz instead of the reccomended 12-16pz per 2 scoop. Oveal it is cheaper to do this than buying the pre made though if thats your end goal. 
1 scoop = 34 6-8oz shakes 
2 scoop= 17 12-16 oz shakes

**Q: Does the cafe flavor contain caffeine?**
A: They started putting Caffeine in the Cafe Latte to my disappointment! I had to swap to Vanilla to keep the drug out of my powder!

**Q: Is lactose free?**
A: NO it is not lactose free. It contains both whey protein concentrate which does contain lactose…and whey protein isolate. 
Whey protein isolate has significantly less lactose and easier on gut for those with lactose intolerant….whereas whey protein concentrate has the highest amount of lactose of any types of whey protein. So it would be a problem for lactose intolerant people…unless a Lactose digest enzyme were taken before consuming the whey protein.

Powder is much finer than other protein powders that I've tried so it mixes well, nice and frothy, not gritty or powdery at all. Other powders have left a heavy residue in the glass which didn't rinse out well and needed to be soaked. Even though the shake is thick, it rinses cleanly and easily from the glass.
