High quality fan, but a short cord, loud Low mode, and button beeps prevent perfection
Pros:- PLENTY of air, even on Low!!! (I barely need to use Med/High modes except to possibly air out my hot room somewhat faster at night during a California heat wave.)- Nice, quality feel overall- The floor base is heavy which provides sturdy support (but almost too heavy)- Easy enough to put together with or without manual- Remote works well- Fan design is decent to look at, but nothing super fancy (could be a pro or con)Cons:- The cord is easily too short. Maybe 2-3 ft shorter than our 10-yr-old cheaper Lasko pedestal fan. (Expect the short cord to be dangling in the air if you don’t put the fan right next to the AC outlet without an extension cord.)- Low speed is a bit loud/powerful for the lowest setting, at least from what I am used to. All the speed modes have this constant propeller plane type of noise to them. But again, it pushes A LOT of air even on Low mode, and that I am used to a bit cheaper fans that are hardly noisy at all on Low. When setting this fan to its maximum height, the fan pushes back a bit even on Low. Also, the Low speed is between a quieter fans’ Medium & High mode. Honestly! (Either from blade noise or the motor noise, or both.)- The fan and remote buttons give off a high-frequency sound and can be irritating to hear all the time. It can’t just be me! (I wish there was a way to turn the beep mode off!)- I can tell this fan is going to be quite a bit heavier than previous models, especially due to the heavy base. Not a big deal for the average person like me, but the weight difference vs other pedestal fans is quite noticeable.- The plastic, removable remote holder is a bit flimsy, especially when you want to lower the fan, since the plastic remote holder attaches to the pole beneath the controls. It just feels cheap and unnecessary. (Might I suggest a DIY velcro job for this remote and set it on top next to the oscillation switch?! Hint hint!)- The all metal grills, when put together, can sometimes cause an annoying metal rubbing sound even on Low mode. It happened when I first put the fan together in June, and again September after rinsing off the dust. Hurricane should have put some sort of dampener(s) on the contact points to prevent this. The rubbing/flaming sound usually will go away if you take off the front grill and replace it slightly. I am sure one could install some dampeners, but I haven’t tried any myself.- Unless you are a small child/person, the fan controls on the unit itself will be blocked by the bottom portion of the blade grill; especially if fan is low to the ground. Just a minor annoyance really, but our cheaper Lasko fan didn’t have this design flaw! (Something I noticed after use this summer.)Installation:So, upon first setting up the fan out of the box and using it the first time, I had no issues. The only thing that kind of annoyed me was that the 2 metal grills would clearly be vibrating on one another when the fan would start up, but the vibrating grills would quickly quiet down after a second or two. I just had to realign the front metal grill a couple times to stop the vibration noise. Again, the fan worked fine, and it’s such a minor thing, but I am glad the minor grill noise stopped. I am used to fans with plastic grills, or a metal front that connects to a plastic back side grill. Since it’s a new fan, I just wanted it to be perfect haha. I guess if the metal grills make noise in the future, I could always put some sort of dampener between the two metal grills. I am guessing here that it’s a common thing with all metal fan grills, and not a knock on quality toward this specific brand or model.I just wish it was available in Black color. It says it has the color on this page on the last photo to scroll through up top. Although White color looked clean, and I wanted to try this brand for a change. I guess I am used to darker colored fans, so the White color stood out to me too much. It looks great, make no mistake, but that was how I felt. This would be the near perfect fan (for the price) if it had:- a longer cord (2-ft longer at least)- no button beeps (or ability to turn the beeps off)- a five blade design instead of the common three- a 5-speed selection where the lowest speed wouldn’t be quite as loud- a less heavy ground base that still provided good support so not to feel cheap or fall over- a less flimsy remote holder design choice- the Black color available as well!!!(Updated/Edited on Sept 5th 2022.)NOTE: This fan has held up really well in a near 90°F room during the summer in Southern California as a heat dome boils the area. This fan is an awesome alternative to using AC all the time, as well as being a great help to cooling down/airing out the 85-90°F room I sleep in before getting to bed later at night. It has been on maybe 20 hrs of the day if I am there and has held up wonderfully. It’s still pretty new, so I don’t expect it to break yet, but thank you Hurricane for this great fan for the summer months!)

Great fan!
I work nights so I wanted a louder fan to help drown out outside noise. I chose this one because the reviews stated that it's loud and it is which is why I purchased it but it's also pretty powerful. I bought this specifically for the noise element but i'll also use it on hot summer nights to point at me, so, powerful and loud are good and I would definitely recommend. I have it on three and am pretty pleased with it but I do like my fans on the loud side anyway, even on days but that's just a preference. It's also super sleek. So far, great purchase!

name brand but great price, exactly what I wanted. One did fail completely
Changing a smidge of my review.. 1 of two failed after minimum use, still looks brand new but stopped working so minus 1 star, should be 3 out of 5 but I'll stay at 4 stars .. It's exactly what I wanted for tight spaces.. 2 speed, no special perks it is what it is.. a little brittle in the swivel part, but seems like I'll get my moneys worth for sure.If you read the info and know your displacement numbers, you get what you want. Hope this helps somehow, because the info given is very straightforward. I wish these came with a auto swivel back\fourth motion, but I've taken the front guard off and it's upped the power slightly. Hit my fingers and things many times already 🤣 it's sad that I have to throw one away. Within the 30 days I had one fail so far... I hope the other doesn't go out or I'll be out buying an old fashioned boxfan. Bigger blades = more disbursement I believe. 1 Box fan blows these both away...

Could be quieter. Works well
Got a black version too.that one was way noisier and shook more. The noise off these is sadly loud. And its the fin design. They will shift a ton of air. But expect at least 40d on low setting. Maybe 80 on high (quite loud).Found you can get 2ftx2ft filter foam and product level air filters that fit nicely on these to trap mosquitos and dust.Using a 2x2ft square of inch thick aquarium foam on it 👍

Great Fan
Needed a fan to hold us over until we could get a new AC. This fan moves a ton of air and is nice and loud which it has to be because it's the only way I can sleep. Works so well, one of the cats sleeps right in front of it. Well worth it.

20” box fan moves more air than any I’ve had before!!
Our last 20”box fan died after about 10 years, so got our money’s worth out of that one…. Hope this one lasts at least half that long. We ran our last fan on high a few feet away from our bed, this one is mighty powerful, we run it on low for the same amount of air movement, so to say the least, it does the job. We plan to take it out by the pool/gazebo area on really hot days this summer. Praying it has a long life since we do run it on a daily basis. So far so good and I would highly recommend it.

Its very loud but it puts out so much cool air!
I really like this fan, it does the job well. It puts out sooo much strong air, I can feel it all the way across the room. Although its kinda loud and you have to speak a bit louder when its on LOL. But we really don't mind. I'm going to order another asap.

This lives up to its name.
I love this fan. On medium setting it sounds like our old fan. On the high setting, it sounds like a hurricane. I sleep well with this fan! It works very well. It keeps the air moving in the bedroom. Highly recommend!

Lives up to its Nme
I bought this to clean the air in my townhouse. I attached four furnace filters to it and leave it at the front door. The wildfire smoke is coming in thicker all the time and this fan does wonders filtering incoming air. Top speed is a little noisy but worth the circulation in the heat.

Great fan for $22
I bought this fan a couple months ago for our grow tent. Works well and the tilt functions are great. I came on to buy a second one, but price has gone from $21.99 to almost $45!! Worth $22, definitely not worth $45. Will look elsewhere for a second one.

Perfect for sliding patio doors! 🌬🌬💆
The media could not be loaded. For my intended use, it's PERFECT. I wanted a window fan that would pull the cold air from outdoors into my apartment at night. However, all my apartment windows are "crank" windows that wouldn't take the typical window fans that are on the market. I began searching for a high powered fan that would fit in my patio sliding door. This fan fit the bill. It's light weight and narrow enough that it's not trying to tip out of the door frame. Fits comfortably against the screen door. It doesn't compare to some of those metal industrial fans on the market in terms of air flow but it's definitely not weak either. In the evenings is where it's capabilities really shine. That cold breeze that comes in is so refreshing (I just have to remember to get up early to close the windows before the daytime air turns warmer). It arrived totally assembled and ready to go. Fast delivery (even with covid delays). So happy I made this purchase as my apartment doesn't have air conditioning and my portable air conditioner really only cools my bedroom. I've attached a photo and a video to give other potential buyers more of an idea as to "what they're getting." And I obviously highly recommend sticking this is a patio door in the evening! 🌬🌬💆

Smoke! Burning! Stopped working!
I brought 2! Both fans burnt out, went up in smoke within a minute of turning on for the first time.
