CrystalClear PondShock Ball Freshwater Clarifier, Enzymes Shock Treatment

My pond was SO murky with silt suspended in the waters. My skimmer begged to be cleaned every other day. I dreaded cleaning the pond, but feared for the health of the fish, so I pulled out the pond vacuum and practically killed it trying to suck up all the sludge on the bottom. I finally got the vacuum to work as a pump, draining 3/4 of the water out of the pond, then using the net to shovel out loads of muck. I cleaned both the skimmer and waterfall filters, which were FULL of muck. Refilled the pond with well water and added 2 Pond Shocks to the 5000 gallon pond. The two photos show the difference between when I added the treatment and two days later. Folks, Pond Shock is good stuff, but it's not a complete miracle worker. You have to invest in regular maintenance or do a mini overhaul like I did if you don't do regular maintenance. Now I have clear water with sludge patches on the bottom. I'll have another go with the vacuum at those spots......

One week no results yet! Gonna give it another week or 2 before I review!! So far I see nothing!!

I have 14 koi in a 400 gallon holding pool because I moved last year and its a temporary set up. Anyhoo...it had greened out on me from fall to spring. I I cleaned my filters, and added half the ball one week and the other half the following week, to the opposite side of the pool where my bio filter draws water. My bio filter has a uv light and would probably kill the bacteria in the ball. At the 3rd week, my water was crystal clear. No fish or plants were harmed. That was 5 mths ago and its still crystal clear. I love seeing my fish again! However, I dont think they like me staring at them all the time now. ×)

It works within a day but the water doesn’t stay clean more than 2-3 days. So it’s a temporary fix but not a longer term solution - it over promises of making water clean but stops saying that it’s only a temp fix.

This works! So easy too. My pond water gets a little hazy, so that's when I know it's time for a ball. I put it right into the water and toss the container in recycling bin. Next morning my water looks clearer and I can see my beautiful fish better.

I may have spoken a little too early with my first review! I am very pleased with the outcome of this product! I haven’t seen my pond this clear since the new installation of the pond! I was not expecting it to work as I saw no change at all in the first week but be patient! 2-3 weeks will do it! I can see my fish in the “deep” end (24” deep) at the bottom cuddled up in the evening time, I can see them chasing each other throughout the day and now they can see me too! They come up and over to me for their treats! I love that I can interact with my babies again! I’m afraid the reviews about it being a waste of money are true for me. Regardless, I tried anyway, $20 gone forever. I put in my pond with high hopes that it would make SOME kind of difference but there was no change at all. We are located in Texas where it is super sunny and super hot all the time. My pond is in direct sunlight as well. Maybe that has something to do with my lack of success.

I love PondShock Ball. It keeps my water clear makes my lily stand-up high and I’ve never had blooms like this but I have this year. I’ve had all colors, white, yellow and pink. They’re beautiful. I’ll keep buying them as long as it stays as pretty’s they are . My koi’s is so lively

Sad to say, but this does not work at all. I placed it in a smaller pond and No results at all. Not even a little bit. Complete waste of money. I’d never recommend and would never purchase again.

I heard this worked really well so for some it may. I did not see a meaningful improvement
