This hammer was honestly amazing quality. It was super sturdy and not flimsy at all. It has a little weight to it—not enough to be heavy or uncomfortable, but enough to make it feel realistic. The foam is thick and durable, and a lot of people actually thought it was real until they picked it up. It’s definitely not the type of foam prop you want thrown at you because it will leave a mark, but that just shows how solid it is. It was built really well and worked perfectly for my Halloween costume. I went as Thor, and this completed the look perfectly!

It's light, and it's all plastic, but the metallic painted hammer part is made of a foamy rubber material. So you can lightly hit someone playfully, and it won't do any harm. However, I wouldn't want to play with it too much as the handle screws into the foam base which has a plastic socket. The handle does come with a strap, but I wouldn't trust it too much. For cheap cosplay it's great, looks excellent for the price. Good for display purposes as well. But if you want something heavy-duty look elsewhere.

Got this for my nephew because he's a superhero fan -- he loved it! Lightweight and not a threat to hurt anyone. Did have to put a little superglue between the handle and the hammerhead to keep it durable.

Was great for my Fat Thor holloween costume.

This is actually a high quality item for a very good price. It doesn't feel cheep or flimsy. It's dense foam with a strong pvc pipe core that screws into the base of the hammer head. Great weathering paint work. Would recommend for any cosplay.

Probably the best Mjolnir I've ever seen without the ridiculous price tag to go along with it. The details on the foam are incredible! And it's not some cheap styrofoam, the foam is heavy and just soft enough so kids wouldn't get hurt (too bad). Worth the purchase for a fat Thor Halloween costume
