Fun instrument easy to learn

Cute with lovely low tones, but the high C note was an off key. Children still had fun with it

HELPS WITH MUSIC AND IS PLEASING TO EAR IF YOU DON'T LIKE LOUD DRUMS OR PIANO BANGING.

This is perfect for exploringanother percussion instrument for my 8yr old. She loves how it sounds and can't wait for it to rain.

Pros: This steel drum is a nice compact size and is very durable. It also comes with a book on how to proper use it along with a few sheet notes.Cons: while the drum itself it very sturdy, the sticks it comes with to play it are not. They are solid wood, but the tips break off very easily however can be reglued.The resonance is very low and must be played fairly hard to create music.

Bought this steel drum as a gift, but loved it so much I kept it! Small (smaller than imagined), comes in a cute bag, song book included, and so fun to use. The only thing I was disappointmed about is there were not more songs included in the song book/instructions to play, but I searched online and found more popular songs to learn.
