Just awesome. Love at first play. Highly recommended.
So glad I bought it. Works amazingly. Some games work better on Android, some work better on JELOS, and honestly, I even often use the stock FW for tough games that require a lot of load/save states because I find the hotkeys easier. The device itself is well made and super cute. Good battery, great screen, classic membrane mush feel. Couldn't be happier for the very reasonable price. As others have said, back up your firmware and flash a better SD Card. Plus, you'll need to supply your own games unless you buy this thing from another source. I chose Amazon because of easy returns just in case and the games that came with my 353p are wanting. So I had to supply my own. NES, SNES, and PS1 really shine, while GB, GBC, GBA seem as good. N64 is notoriously difficult to emulate but it honestly plays almost perfectly here, especially on Android. Perfectionists will always squirm but I'm 43 and remember the old hardware not always running perfectly either so whatever. 3DO was a nice surprise. Works flawlessly. Haven't tried much DS, GG, Saturn, or Dreamcast but plenty of videos detail it.Can't believe this thing isn't higher rated. For those of you who are afraid of the learning curve, I installed JELOS myself by following online tutorials and had zero problems. I'm not that much of a computer guy, either. It's really not as hard as you're thinking. If anything, the biggest challenge is sourcing roms and even that's pretty easy, especially with all the tutorials out there. Plus, ETSY vendors.

Easy to add games!
If you are looking for a Gameboy feel, this is an excellent product. I have tried several emulators in this price range and this model is far superior. Adding games is very easy with a simple YouTube tutorial. I am not great with computers but I have added several games including pokemon white and white 2. Gameboy color is my all time favorite Christmas gift and this emulator is exactly what I needed to have that old feel again! I still have a Gameboy color but the convenience of this emulator is amazing. The battery is fantastic. Buy it already! You need it!

Love it
I bought this while waiting for the new Analogue. I ended up canceling my order on the Analogue and kept this. The screen is great. I love that I can play many different consoles. The size is great for an adult with large hands. It’s also small and portable. I like the operating system as well. There is great community support. There are case options available too. I originally wanted and Analogue for physical collecting and game play, but the Analogue can only play a few consoles (Nintendo). Digital games are much more accessible and cheaper. This is the way to go.I love the console!

Moonlight streaming is excellent
I love this device. It has pretty good battery life, and can provide a lot of gaming enjoyment. While I didn't use the 16gb linux OS (Batocera or something else, maybe emulation station) I do use the Android OS. Play Store doesn't work, but plenty of emulators are already on the device as well as RetroArch. APK Pure store easily allows application updates. I've had an awesome time streaming from my gaming PC with Moonlight. It didn't work great at first because of 5ghz wifi, but I created a hidden network that only uses 2.4ghz, and I haven't had any streaming stutters in months. I can even stream from outside my network, and it's been a neat experience. The Anbernic device feels good in the hand, and I have zero complaints. RetroArch didn't do too well with N64 games, but the paid version of Mupen64 is already installed and I believe that will work better although I haven't tested it. Get this device, it's well worth it!

Husband’s Birthday Gift
Bought this as a gift for my husband and he’s obsessed! Loves having this on him for any down time at work or home. Small, portable, and perfect for those who miss their Game Boy days!

Plays N64 pretty well on the Android side
I use it to play OoT and other N64 games. They all work fine except for the Paper Mario ROM which crashes and the Yoshi’s Story ROM which lags when you jump. The same ROMs work just fine on my PC using Dolphin, so the ROMs can’t be at fault. Then again, I’ve never bothered to tinker with the graphics settings too much on this product so I won’t blame it for my possible ignorance. The SNES games have not had any problems so far. Finally, I can play Mother 3 on a comfortable device!

Not worth it
The screen broke within a month of owning. There was no drops or any physical damage to the device. The screen just eventually went white

Great when it works.
The RG353P is a well made piece of hardware with fairly poor out of the box software.Everything about this device looks and feels great. When everything functions accordingly, performance is even a little bit better than expected. It managed to play nearly every N64 title I threw at it and there was even decent success with the PSP and Dreamcast emulators. This issue is with the firmware. I guess it's possible the card reader on my device was causing issues, but within a day of having it the firmware on the stock 16gb just stopped working and it wouldn't boot into Linux. I had to flash a custom firmware onto another SD card to bring it back to life and it did the same thing to the custom firmware twice. In addition to that, it's worth noting the Android side of the OS lacks Google framework services, which makes using most apps and Android games difficult at best out of the box.I'm interested in revisiting the product further into it's life span, but for now I'm going to send it back and see if the Retroid Pocket 2+ better suits my needs.
