A lot better than I expected.
Someone bumped the front bumper of my car and damaged the chrome trim. I tried variable "chrome" paint in the can, but none of them worked. The best these spray cans can do is create a brushed aluminum look, NOT anywhere close to chrome looking. Don't even waste your time and money with the spray chrome. The only real way to do it is to find someone who can chrome plate, which is expensive. So I decided to try a chrome wrap. I was hesitant to buy this wrap, because some of the reviews complained about finish, some complained about this wrap doesn't work well on curved surfaces, and others complained about the durability of the finish. But the reviews were still better than all the other wraps I could find, si for $10, it was worth a try. I didn't have too much issues with the 3 concerns listed above. Perhaps, it's because the trim I needed to wrap is thin and to get this wrap to work with it was pretty easy, but at least for my application, it was great. I'll comment each of the 3 concerns based on my experience. 1. Chrome finish quality: This wrap is definitely shiny like chrome. It has slight texture up close, but from 1-2 feet away, can't really tell. The wrap is very thin and you need to make sure the underlying surface is very smooth because the slightest imperfection will show. I found this out the hard way because I didn't sand smooth the trim piece I was wrapping so the first one, while acceptable looking ,wasn't good enough for my standards. 2. Ease of wrapping curved surfaces. I didn't have that much difficulty dealing with the curve of the trim piece. First, remove the plastic protective layer. The wrap itself is flexible, but the protective clear film on top is not, so remove it. For me, it helped to stick a small piece of the wrap in the middle of the curve, and stretch the wrap along the shorter side and then stretch the side on the longer side. The wrap can stretch ok to a point, just don't go overboard. Also, i chose to do a "wrapped edges" approach. Basically I cut the wrap much larger than the trim piece and stretched and wrapped around the edges and in back of the trim piece. This helped keep the wrap around the curve and edges clean. 3. Durability of finish. I thought the wrap was pretty durable, but since it is going to be used on the front bumper, I put a small clear bra PPF film on top of it made by Xpel that I had leftover. Overall for $10 and a 3 tries, I think it came out pretty good. Better than spending $100 on a new trim or money to get it chrome plated...

Very beautiful vinyl wrap and good quality
I am new to using vinyl wrap and I bought this for a special project. I wanted to wrap my son's 20 inch tire mountain bike. The product is very forgiving and as long as you properly clean prior no issues with bubbles or foreign items under the wrap. A heat gun, patience and good music is a must for learning how to vinyl wrap. I will say if you are a perfectionist like I am take a chill pill because a little flaw you can see up close is not noticeable or a big deal but can be fixed if you catch it early on. But may not be necessary. Ill have to come back to post some photos But I am very satisfied with the way it turned out. Plus it held up on the trail, riding in mud and clay, cleaned up nicely. I will probably being doing another bike in the near future and will be vinyl wrapping it with product made from Vinyl Frog. I did not see any instructions and I bought a vinyl wrap installation kit separately.

Nice looking wrap for my first attempt
Fist time using vinyl wrap, this stuff applies fairly easily. You're going to want a legit heat gun for this to get it to wrap curved surfaces properly, there are cheap heat guns on amazon. Positives: -Easy to use and results in a very nice look. Once you learn how to apply it, you can cover a variety of shapes and surfaces. -It's very forgiving, you can un-stick and re-stick it to get it right on odd shapes. -It stuck to several different surfaces in my use, plastic, paint, chrome. -Bubbles weren't a problem at all. You can either smooth them out or hit it with the heat gun to better form the vinyl to the shape. -This vinyl wrap is a good way to get a very uniform finish that can be difficult with paint, not to mention wraps have colors that can't easily be accomplished with paint (like this color effect). Negatives: -I didn't measure the length of I actually received, but there was a 12"x12" square rolled inside my tube while the main roll was outside the tube. I am not sure if this 12"x12" square was part of the 60" length I was supposed to receive, but be aware if you actually need the full length advertised. I used smaller pieces so I cut what I needed from the main roll. -The purple isn't as apparent as the product photos show. The lighting has to be just right to see lots of purple. I think if I had a light source for my photo that was coming from behind the object, more purple would be visible. Still a nice "chameleon" effect and it looks better in person. The primary teal color looks great on its own. -I also wish the matte was more smooth. The surface has a "grainy" look to it, but I think that's the nature of the chameleon color changing effect. -It will scratch, as easily if not more so than paint, so keep that in mind for your intended use. Overall a very nice product and resulted in a great finished project I am proud of.

Sticks really well and stretches really well also. This is a nice quality wrap that when done properly shows an almost mirror reflection

Not great But solid for the price!
Film has a decent shine and looks pretty good. Had some trouble getting it to stick well in a few spots near the edge and it does scratch easily. overall it seems to be a solid option for a budget film. especially for a small trim piece like what I'm using it for.

Stretches into complex shapes, stays super shiny and smooth
Easy to work with, even on complex shapes. I had to replace the grill on my Mercedes, and the replacement came with a black star emblem. It’s about 5” in diameter, and the OEM star was chrome plated. I used this to replicate the chrome plating on the tri star, it stretched and smoothed out very nicely into every crevice, you’d never be able to tell the star is not OEM. Note that you do need to remove the clear film on the display side in order to get it to stretch correctly, but once I did that it worked flawlessly, super shiny and smooth with no bubbles or creases.

Waste of money
Never used this brand before so i tried it, I didn’t like it. It was not even and when I put it the mat it wouldn’t even lay down straight or all the way.
