On The Money Hair Gloss + Semi-Permanent Color Depositing Mask

Worked so well - my brunette is shiny, soft, and looks refreshed. Rich color and dimension, no damage, no heaviness. Perfect quick boost between salon visits.

I loved my bleach blonde highlights, when I got them, but now they have grown out to the "wierd" stage. So hoping to not have to damage my hair with dying it more, I got the IGK Color Depositing Mask in Electric bronze. It was extremely easy to use and left my hair softer than it was to begin with!! I applied it to my dry hair for 15 minutes and rinsed it out. I was left with a beautiful brown caramel color where the highlights once were. That caramel color just blends so nicley with the rest of my hair. I will definitly be using this every couple of weeks to give my hair color the boost it needs :)

A bit brighter than I was hoping for - I was looking for more of an aubergine shade, and this is pretty much ultraviolet. Pretty, though, easy to apply, and lasted longer than expected without fading fast.

Will probably buy again when it’s on sale. Was able to get 3 uses out of the bottle. I have long hair, mid back length, that is super thick and has been bleached/color treated. The color depositing of the mask is minimal but I feel like it helps to even out my color as the blonde slowly starts to brass and fade. The mask is incredibly moisturizing and makes my hair feel very soft. Using the mask: I towel dry my hair and leave it a bit damp. Then I put on gloves and pull the product through my hair. I put on a processing cap and let it sit for 15-20 minutes then rinse.

I had highlights about a year ago, hated them, boxed dyed my hair two weeks later to my roots color and no color since then. I wanted to bring shine and even out the gradient from my roots to my ends - the lengths and ends have faded to this chestnutish brown and my roots are a lot cooler. Also grays. Their annoying. Left it on for about 20 minutes (5 mins over recommended time but I was also coloring my eyebrows 😅). Rinsed out with cool water until it ran clear and then applied conditioner. I’m really happy with the results. I was looking for the dullness to be improved and it’s definitely got some shine to it. Feels incredibly soft. Color is a rich chocolate brown and I think the previous chestnutish color gives it some additional dimension. We’ll see how it holds up! I also purchased the John Frieda Brunette Gloss to rotate it with since I did use roughly half the bottle.

I wanted to like this IGK Color Depositing Mask in A La Plage (Light Sand), but for this price I expected more. I followed the directions and left it on for the full time. My hair is a level 9-10 blonde. Instead of the light sand tone advertised, it gave my hair a pinkish-red raspberry tint. It was really noticeable outside — when we were at the mall and walking outside, my kids and my mom all said my hair looked red. If you just need light toning between salon visits to refresh the color a bit, it’s okay and will get you by. But the tone is off from what’s shown. If you’re hoping to go darker by one or two levels like the chart shows, this won’t do it. On my hair the change was minimal. See my photos and video for the actual result on light blonde. Pros: Smells really good and it’s easy to apply. Works as a quick refresh between colorings if you don’t mind the pinkish tone. Cons: For this price, the color payoff is wrong. Don’t expect a natural tone or any actual darkening. I’ve used other products that perform better for the same purpose. Overall, it didn’t deliver the color I needed. It might work for minor toning, but be aware it pulls pink, not sandy.

A wonderful color! It gives the hair rich saturation and a deeper tone, along with a pleasant scent and shine.

I would give this product 5 stars, but it has an overly perfumed smell that seems completely unnecessary to me. Why must manufacturers of hair and cosmetic products or ANYTHING you put on skin or hair load them up with fragrances! Ugh! Give us all a break! I use this product on my fine, wavy shoulder length hair that is mostly gray for 45 minutes at a time and it leaves my hair very conditioned and a nice shade of brown. If I don't wash it too much I can get a week to week and a half of pretty color out of the product. Which is a lot considering this is not a hair color in the traditional sense with all the ammonia and peroxide and other chemicals that tend to irritate my sensitive scalp. It does, however, take 2 or 3 days for the perfume smell to dissipate. Excellent product - PLEASE LOSE THE PERFUME OR MAKE A FRAGRANCE FREE VERSION.

I love this mask, I highly recommend it. I left the hair salon a bit disappointed about my color. I didn't want a big change, just something warmer. I knew this would probably not change the darkest parts of my hair, but it would probably affect my highlights the way I wanted, and it did! The change is more visible in person and in the sun than in my pictures, but you can at least see the nuance in addition to how shiny and soft it left my hair. The color is now lighter after several washes but still beautiful. I've never tried any kind of home hair dyes before, so I was a bit nervous about the results as well as potentially accidentally dying my very white bathroom. My very amateurish application left my highlights flawless, and the cleanup of any mess-ups was very easy. Plus I love that this product of cruelty-free!

I recently used the IGK Brown Bella Mask, and I’m really impressed with the results. You can see the difference in the photo I attached. I highly recommend this product to anyone with white or gray hair who wants an easy way to cover and blend those hairs. It worked amazingly well for me and left my hair looking more even and refreshed.
