HOWEVER after saying that one does have to ask if your using it for any special medical purpose other than to listen to breath sounds, basic heart sounds, inter abdominal functioning, blood pressure. Just as there are some special things you would want a stethoscope to have if are a cardiologist and need a stethoscope to give you better sounds and picking up high and low frequencies, or if working with pregnant women and need one that is more sensitive for inter- abdominal listening there are some specialty needs that vet processes have of some that are made a bit differently. Not only does it hurt to wear, but I can barely hear my own heart with it. The sound clarity is abysmal, and the ear tips are of very poor quality. When I tried to return the item, I was shocked to find out that I had to pay for the return shipping. Despite this, I went ahead with the return process. To make matters worse, when my replacement was approved, I only received a 50% refund. The reason given was that I had opened and used the item. How else am I supposed to check the product without using it at least once? I feel like I have been robbed. Do not waste your money like I did.
