good variety (lenghts), 410 stainless steel, won't strip, very tough. But pre-drill into hardwood to make it easier.

Predrill a pilot hole for best results using aluminum screws
Im using this screw assortment to attach sheathing to the inside of a cargo trailer. Alhthough they are Self tapping screws, Ive found them to work most effectively if i predrill a pilot hole. The screws are light aluminum and as such the screw heads can easily fail if self tapping without a pilot hole. Otherwise they work fine.

They set up easy, do break if you over torque so set your drill accordingly. I used on 3/16 sheet metal with no problem.

Great to Have Around, My Advice is To Purchase as Many Screw Assortments you Have Space to Store
Apart from what others have said, I would highly advice any person to purchase about 20 screw, nut, and washer assortments when you get your first residence. They have an infinite shelf life and will easily pay for themselves over time. Even if you only use 5% of the 3,000 or so fasteners over the next 30 years, they will pay for themselves in gas and time running to Home Depot at the last minute.On a related note, I have found the same to be true with purchasing quantities of small batteries (CR 2025, LR44) that go into various gadgets. They are 1/10 the cost of what a hardware store charges and have long shelf lives.

These stainless steel screws were so much stronger than what I got at homedepot. The held up to my milwaukee impact driver. Im impressed will buy again.

Great for thin gauge sheet metal
I bought to use on sheet metal building to hang cctv cameras. I did not want to have to pre-drill holes and potentially have to use washers. Self tapping and pan head stainless screws did the trick. Easily tapped through the sheet metal with moderator drill pressure and drill speed.

Good value
These are real stainless steel screws and a very good value. Only issue is packaging. The box dividers did not hold up to shipping so i spent the first hour dividing the screws into their sizes.

The screws are supposed to be self tapping, but they are not sharp enough and does not drill in good.
