Very impressed
Very impressed with this rod. My only complaint is that all the eyelets are very small. Using 30 lb braided line makes a scratching sound against the eyelets when you reel in and it is quite audible. Could be that 30lb is too thick. Still a great rod.

GREAT FISHING RODS
I've been fishing these rods for a year or so now. I've been very pleased. And ARDENT has great customer service. I can feel almost every stone as I fish these rods. Can even tell when my lure has picked up a single leaf.

Feels good in hand
Haven't tried it yet, so there's that, but this balances surprisingly well in hand and feels decently light. Paired with Ardent hi speed reel already had. Plan to use for second drop shot rod. I also bought the 7'2" MH which (of course) feels tip heavy in comparison. On both the label/brand placard had a bad misspelling so we'll see how worksmanship/QC holds up.

Don’t recommend
Ordered this rod as a gift and it showed up broken. Returned it and had another one sent in its place and it also showed up broken. Not impressed with this product at all

Good rod. Not as thin as some of the higher priced brands but is a good rod. Casts well and is sensitive. 4 stars because AMAZON shipped it in a cardboard box. Not a rod tube. It is a wonder it didn't arrive in several pieces.

Not quality
This is a poorly made rod. I got it for a tournament last year The rods blank is not strait and the top guide is delicate. The cement used to hold the guides is all over the reel knob. Save your money and get a Berkley Cherrywood
