So small but great quality all round
Even now I'm so surprised at just how good this product is. It's great to use my wired headphones again. For me it gives great sound quality and increased volume. I actually had to reduce the volume on my phone. An all round great product. Full marks.

Works well and is solidly made
Works perfectly and is well built and my wife has had hers for one year without any issues. I bought a Samsung converter at the airport a few months ago and it is beginning to be tempremental.

It has a flaw...
It's actually a great product. Used on a Galaxy s20 FE. Plug and play? Yes. I use my phone on gimble for face tracking and have a rode shot gun mic and led light attached via a bracket. When using while walking it's fine at first but comes loose after a few minutes. If you stand still no issues at all. I have yet to find a 3.5 to usb-c adapter that does not suffer this issue. Though, this is very light in weight so thought it would be ok. I have a temporary fix (not ideal but works) which is to place a rubber band around the phone and adapter to keep it I'm place.

It works
The build quality seems solid. I'm guessing everyone will have different experiences based on their use-case. For me, I was having electronic interference on the front panel audio of my Corsair 5000D PC case, and I'm too lazy to try and re-route cables. That case, however, does have a USB-C port. That's what lead me to this.Being a right-angle, it means there's less strain on the jacket of my headphones while plugged into a PC or laptop, and you're keeping it stationary. It really is plug and play with Windows, no drivers needed, thankfully--who in this day and age wants a CD or to hunt down something from a manufacturer's website?.I'm using AKG 240 Mk II headphones, which are high quality headphones and where I needed 24-bit/96Hz DAC. So the sound is as good as being plugged directly into motherboard's rear I/O, or my Focusrite Solo USB-interface.

Small and durable.
Great pic of gear. Good build quality and great value for money. Works with my phone perfectly. Recommend this product.

Worse than the cheap cables
Terrible reliability, will cut out frequently.Outer case started to fall off after 2 weeks. Even poorer than the cable adapters which usually only last 2-3 months

superb
My old Sennheiser wired headphones always sounded muffled and boomy plugged directly into my Acer Spin 513, but once I plugged this DAC adaptor into the usb c port and then the headphones into the adaptor the sound was fantastic! They provide an open well balanced clear and clean sound. Clear highs and clean deep bass. No noise.Instruments are well separated, I can hear the space around them. The result I experienced is like moving from a dark night to a clear sunny day.Thank you Ugreen, the price I paid was peanuts compared to the great result.

Doesn't last longer
I bought this item for my 9 year old and after a year of use it just stopped working. My 6 year old that tends to abuse his items used a cheaper £5 cable which has outlasted this item.Eventually the cable failed as well but really this item is a solid part and more expensive. You'd expect it to last 3-5 years at least. It's nice and compact while it lasted...
