This 100% pure Michigan maple syrup is produced yearly by volunteers at the Shepherd Sugar Bush Corporation in Shepherd, Michigan. The Syrup is made for the Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival and is sold throughout the year. All of the syrup is naturally produced with state of the art equipment by local volunteers. The sap is gathered from the trees within the village and its surrounding area, while all of the proceeds are used to fund the community's recreational projects (ie; parks, youth sports, etc). Nobody gets paid for any of their labor as our "pay" comes from the benefits our village receives from the festivals proceeds.
