Is this camera easy for someone to steal? Once mounted?

It could be, but would require 15ish minutes and tools. On mine you would need a ladder and climb to the pitch of my roof (if they wanted the solar panel too). The video comes directly to my phone and I can view it, not subscribed to cloud. Long term they are saved on the SD card. If I got a motion alert and saw someone stealing it, I would download that video. The poster who said they couldn’t get the video is just lazy. You have 3 days that the video (and sound) is on your devices. I love my Reolink. It’s better then a ring doorbell.

How long is the cloud service free?

Not only must you renew the free 7-day cloud plan every 30 days, it’s only good for one camera. So if you buy more than one camera you have to either subscribe to a higher tier plan or have a different account for each camera, which sounds like a pain in the butt for me. You’d have to sign out of one camera and sign back on to the other in order to check videos on each camera or have one camera connected to your phone and the other camera connected to another household member’s phone.

How long are cables that connect the solar panel to the camera?

Dear, the cable length is 4 meters. Moreover, you can use up to 2 solar panel extension cables so that the total distance can reach up to 13 meters (43 feet).
