Was skeptical after a few reviews, but was proven wrong!
I was skeptical because of reading some of the previous reviews about the products strength in stripping grease and dirt from the engine bay, but after first use all doubts were gone. Went with a 2 to 1 mixture on the first use ( about 500ml total in the bottle, mostly because of the lower reviews I read) and it took off probably 70 percent of all the dirt in the engine bay with me just letting it sit there for about 10 minutes, no scrubbing or anything. It did so well I decided to do a second coat and let it sit for about 7 minutes more or less and the engine bay actually started to shine in some places, again no brushing this time. I still have grease caked on a few places like the power steering reservoir and next to the passenger side engine mount but this did MUCH better then expected after first use. Well worth the money.

Super Strong Degreaser - Definitely a Grime Reaper!
Another great product from Chemical Guys. I purchased this because it stated that it was as strong as acid - and really good on dirt and grime. Well, I was not dissappointed at all. I've had some really tough, caked on, red Oklahoma clay in one of my truck's wheel wells - it was all over everything - just a horrible mess - and I've tried nearly all the over-the-counter degreasers - none of which worked. I used this - diluted at 5/1 - and it honestly did the trick. I sprayed it all over the mess and let it set about 10 minutes and then sprayed it off with a water hose - and to my surprise, it took off the majority of the gunk... I've been trying to get this stuff off for weeks and finally found something that works. Very glad I tried this.... It works great!

Works wonders on carpet
My husband is a mechanic and we often have grease stains on our light colored carpet from his work boots. This product lifts the grease stain without affecting the color of the carpet.

not bad product
it works, i used it on my parents car to see how strong it was. it made my parents rims look like they were almost brand new. Its strong but not as strong as i hoped it would be. its great for the value and how much you can use out of 1 gallon.Would i buy it again?Still debating.

Decent, but could use improvement.
They say this is stronger than acid.It resembles purple power or Super Clean - two really good products that aren't as safe on US as we'd like. This stuff does a 6/10 job in comparison to Super Clean (A very strong alkaline degreaser that can - and will - etch glass, aluminum, etc) but it's a great all purpose cleaner. I use it to remove grease stains from vinyl and leather interiors. I use Super Clean for engine bays and the like, and even as a carpet cleaner.I'll keep some of this on hand for a future use, but for the most part the other APC/Degreasers from Chemical Guys works great.

This stuff is strong
Used it to clean an electric smoker, car rims, oil off of driveway, dog pee off laminate floors and yes the engines of two vehicles. The civic has close to 200K on it engine never cleaned. used this with no brushing and it looks like it did 190K ago, I'm sure with some brushing it would look 99% new.O yea, if you have sensitive skin you don't want to get this on you mixed and stronger that 1 to 6 or it burns, it's that good

Works okay, but should have updated label info
Chemical Guys mentions this product in a few of their videos for cleaning engine bays. That was the primary reason I bought it. I figured if it was crazy strong, I could easily dilute it more than recommended. When I received it, I was unhappy to see "not for paint" listed on the label. I watched the videos over again and again heard "safe to use on all surfaces". I did hear, "don't leave it on your paint", so I figured I'd give it a try knowing I need to rinse it off quickly. It work pretty well at 5:1 dilution. I applied twice and it seems like agitating the dirty got you better results. Maybe leaving it on the dirt/oil/grease would allow it to work easier, but I was afraid to leave it on too long. I'm disappointed there was not a more clarity on this products proper use compared to how it was used on their videos.

Great APC
I mixed this 1:5 with water and used it to clean my exhaust tips and to do an engine detail. At 1:5 the grime didnt "melt away" but it was way eaiser to clean than anything I have ever used before. Chemical Guys products are awesome, and this one is no exception. Smells acidic, but did not damage anything. Thanks to Grime Reaper, my engine bay is perfectly clean, including all the little bits of dirt that get stuck in the interior body lines.
