OrlimarGolf Mat for The Optishot 2 in-Home Golf Simulator, Play and Practice Year-Round

The optishot unit was garbage, but we kept the Matt. We bought much better launch monitor, cut this Matt up and reused it in our sim and it has held up well with heavy use.

Need to add 2" foam under it so opti shot.is level. To the top of mat. But. After that. its perfect .

Good quality. If you have the thick grass turf, you will need to cut out the hole more.

Overall fine item. The mat won't sit level with your optishot so you will need to add something below to even it out. Even with that this is a much cheaper option than other mats that fit optishot. I used 2 layers of foam exercise mats underneath and everything aligns perfectly now.

Being able to put on my golf shoes when I practice seems to make a huge difference. Also, enables better practice swings since now I can step back from the Optishot and not worry about scratching my wood floors.. I don't yet know how durable it is, but it seems thick and study enough. It fit perfectly and looks good.

Do not buy this mat if you’re trying to buy a mat that is tall enough to match your optishot unit, because it doesn’t. I bought the mat knowing this. All I had to do was run to my local tractor supply and buy a horse stall mat, cut it to size, and glue this mat to it. Perfect height, and the mat is fantastic. 5/5 stars.

I have been using my Optishot 2 for a while and wanted a mat so that swing pad wouldn't move around and also to be more level with the pad.The mat is not level with the top of the swing pad. It is level with the slope in front of the sensors.I have it in my living room and it works well for both the Optishot and also taking swings from the Mat.

For $76 the mat is not really worth it. 1. It is extremely thin compared to most golf mats. 2. It is no where near flush with the optishot. So if you are going to use this you need to choke up on every club so you do not destroy your simulator or clubs. My opinion is to either build your own platform to fit the optishot or to get a thicker golf mat and trace the sensor out and fit the sensor to the new thicker mat. If this mat was $25-$40 I'd give it a 3 star but not for $76.

Good quality build

delivery was 2 weeks later than promised... pad is really thin, so had to supplement with thicker pad underneath. Optishot sits high above the mat and not realistic to normal golf height stance so had to supplement thickness with another pad underneath.

The mat is a little low for the optishot.I added a 1.5 - 2 inch foam insulation sheet to the underside and it brought it up the exact high of my optishot.Mat is very durable and feels great for swinging off.

This mat is thin. I use it mainly for my feet to stand on.The mat goes on top of subfloor tiles which you can buy at home improvement stores. This will allow the subfloor+mat to be same as height as optishot.
