My dog loves it
Iโve tried a lot of dog foods over the years, but Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies has quickly become a favorite in our house. My dog absolutely loves the taste โ heโs usually picky, but he digs right in and actually seems excited for mealtime. I like that the ingredients are simple and wholesome: real chicken, a mix of veggies, and no fillers or artificial flavors. It gives me peace of mind knowing Iโm feeding him something nutritious, not just empty calories. His coat has become shinier, and his energy level seems more consistent throughout the day since switching. The 40 lb. bag is huge, which is perfect if you have multiple dogs or just want to buy in bulk. I also appreciate that the kibble isnโt too hard or too small โ easy for him to chew without making a mess. Overall, this food strikes a good balance between quality and price. I feel confident feeding it daily, and seeing my dog enjoy it so much makes it an easy recommendation for other pet owners.

Good for your dog and apparently tasty!
My dog, who has a "picky stomach" has so far enjoyed this, she had her first couple of meals of it just today as it arrived. I will give you a little insight into her background of problems in order to provide a better review. My dog is a 5 1/2 year old, 13-15 pound Italian Greyhound mix rescue- she has that little dog problem with her teeth being really bad (we brush them and use a lot of teeth-exercising "treats" and toys for her but it is still pretty bad) and she has always had trouble with the "cheaper" brands of food- throwing them up and having issues with them in general. Not sure if it's allergy related- we think not as that is what we have been told by Veterinary staff, however, she definitely has problems with brands like Kibbles N Bits, etc. I had her on one of Purina's various dog food titles and she started getting seizures. In asking veterinary staff they suggested it may or may not be food related and we are in the middle of figuring that out currently- but meanwhile, it was highly recommended I switch her food to something even a little higher quality. I was concerned she may not even touch this food, as she herself is a little picky. But she ate nearly all of it, only leaving what she accidentally knocks out of her food dish (she's a little bit of a princess and refuses to eat it once it's on the floor? I don't know. Haha.) Anyways I highly recommend this as a "better" option for your dog(s) and so far it seems like it's doing the job- no problems yet! I will update of course if there is a need to do so but if all is good, i'm happy to answer questions. I bought a rather large bag of this too, 28 pounds I believe, and so i'm very glad she likes it. Hopefully now we can deal appropriately with her seizures, should they continue! Definitely worth purchasing this though, even for the more finicky dogs or ones with stomach issues.

I figured it would be temporary but 4 months later and he still eats it like he did on day one
I can't tell you how many different brands of dog food I have been through with my dog from cheap to expensive over the past 2 years. We had to bribe him to eat his food otherwise he wouldn't touch it. On a whim I ordered a bag of Rachel Ray dog food and when it arrived my fur baby was trying to get into the bag. I had never seen him tear through a bowl of dog food so fast he LOVES it!!! I figured it would be temporary but 4 months later and he still eats it like he did on day one. I just ordered my third bag of this stuff and I couldn't be happier with it. It may not be the best dog food in regards to ingredients but it's not the worst either. He hasn't shown any health issues eating this food either, but every dog is different. I bought a bag of this at Walmart a couple of days ago and the dogs love it and I am in the process of switching to a vegan kibble which I have not got yet (hopefully in 2 days) but the old Taste of the Wild has run out and I had to have something and I so did not want to go to the feed store which has the craziest driveway you ever saw on the busiest street ( it's a accident waiting to happen) and to be truthful I had had a very busy day so I cut a corner. Anyway I tried this myself and since the dogs eat mostly a homemade diet I figured that if they eat it I should be able to taste it and have no side affects and it's okay really more like a mild kind of cracker and they like it mixed with the chicken and vegetable they already get. So why the vegan kibble you ask well I have two geriatric basset hounds each with different things going on but one is allergic to meat and I mean all of it. I started making homemade veggie burgers for him and giving him supplements and he got way better and his nose and chest congestion cleared up mostly but he was sneaking some kibble from the other dogs bowl and I know he has to have a kibble because there are things in kibble that dogs have to have to maintain a healthy balance. The other basset has EPI which means his pancreas is not working very well and has to have enzyme but he should really be on a fat free diet. The two other dogs are going to need something on the side especially the high energy boxer and so I feel the Rachel Ray will fill this void and if I can eat a couple of bites of this and not get sick then I feel it's okay for the doggies.
