Perfect Body

Perfect Body is an E.P. and precursor to the debut SPETSNAZ album "Grand Design (re-designd)". SPETSNAZ has taken older synthesizers & drum machines to create an "old school" industrial feel & coupled with the Douglas McCarthy-esque vocals you get a NITZER EBB-ish sound. The 1st three tracks are exclusive to this disc "apathy" being my favorite! I can't believe this isn't nitzer ebb! Very upbeat, slightly angry, great heavy-synth beats. The rest of the songs are remixes of songs from "grand design" , but the original songs are better. They've taken great industrial & remixed it into techno sounding dancing synth. I love happy synth, just not from groups like this. This disc is a must for spetsnaz fans. The first three songs are worth the price alone, plus a great live version of "on the edge"! If you love "NITZER EBB" or heard "Militant Cheerleaders On The Move" or like other "SPETSNAZ" cd's, you'll love this!

This band is absolutely amazing! The single, Perfect Body, has become a huge club hit where I DJ at. Very old-school sounding but with modern production. I haven't gotten my mitts on Grand Design yet, but I cannot wait!
