Spoiler does have the option of using screws if you are willing to drill through trunk. I think the 3m adhesive is sufficient as having used other items with it. I have not installed our spoiler yet as it was ordered for Christmas gift and we are in the east coast and no garage. **Q: How do you install this trunk spoilers?** A: I would recommend watching a YouTube video on “how to install a rear spoiler” just so that you have a better idea ( that’s how I installed mine ) **Q: Does this come with the heavy duty spring?** A: No this is just the lip spoiler.
