Long lasting and stable, in lovely designs
Gaiam mats are my favourite. They are light to carry, and comes either lots if lovely designs. They come in crying thicknesses. I gave give now.

Pretty pattern but caused sweaty feet
Great design on both sides. I needed to leave the mat outside for a few days before using as the smell, once the package was opened, was horrendous . I am a warm person however found within 15 minutes of flow yoga, my feet were sweating and I was sliding on the mat, I lost grip a few times so made the session uncomfortable . Will have to buy another mat which is disappointing

A Yoga Mat that Slips
I am terribly disappointed with this purchase. I had brought 2 previous Gaiam yoga mats and got a year out if each. They held to the yoga studio floor and my feet. This new mat SLIPS on the ground! I have washed the mat and and still it slips. This is both annoying and dangerous. The main thing a yoga should do is NOT SLIP. I will not purchase gaiam again. I was so excited for the arrival of this mat and now I'm using it on top of my older mat to stop it slipping. Obviously their quality has dropped significantly. Buy other yoga mat brands. I also waiting nearly 2 months for this mat!

Poor grip
Disappointed as I had this mat before. Poor quality.

NOT THE QUALITY i WAS EXPECTING
When I first got the mat I was allergic to the chemical in the product and after multiple washes the mat was reuseable, however after only using it for a few months it is starting to chip pieces of rubber off the mat. The product was recommended by a yoga instructor but mine is defective. I am very disappointed in it and would not recommend GAIAM to anyone. Also it is not EXTRA THICK as noted in the info.
