Great freshness for a dried spice.
I cook a lot and buy different and unique spices. The potency on this one was perfect. Didn’t seem overly dried out and had a “bright” flavor. Also if you have not tried this particular spice I recommend it. Super versatile

Delicious, hot, and a nice bottle!
It's gochugaru - which means it's always delicious! This is a nice size bottle (and a *nice* bottle! It looks so pretty in my spice cabinet). The spice arrived fresh, and is an excellent addition to so many different dishes. Great value for money - will repurchase when I run out!

So glad to find this on Amazon
I use a meal service plan and one of the ingredients sent was this. But since it was just for one 2 person meal, it was just enough for that. Wanted to make tge recipe again,but couldn't find this, even in a large spice shop or in any local groceries. Didn't think it woukd be on Amazon, but there it was. Perfect!

Versatile and delicious!
This spice is a must have for me. I use it to make sweet-hot sauces for salmon, chicken, pork. I've even added the sauce to spaghetti! I now buy 2 at a time because I use so much of it. It's unlike normal chili flakes in that is has a sweet undertone along with the heat. A new-found addition to my spice cabinet. Highly recommend!

My picky husband loves this!
Got this for my husband who loves all things spicy. He hates spicy without flavor, though, and he said this product was amazing: smoky flavor, though too mild. Still gives them 5 stars, though.
