Beautiful
I was a little skeptical buying this online, but this mantel is gorgeous and goes perfectly with our new fireplace! When we received this my husband actually put off mounting it because he thought It would be a little challenging, after nagging him for a few weekends he decided he might as well just go for it. After he read the directions he got right to work and had it hanging up in less than 10 minutes! He said if he knew it was gonna be that easy he would have done it right alway! Needless to say we are both loving our new mantel!

Great looking Product but poor mounting system
I was very happy with the timber mantel that we received. It was in great shape for its age and it came with a cool little note. My only concern was with the mounting hardware. By design, it is meant to be installed with the wall bracket mounting screws in a horizontal position. If you are looking into screwing this into a stud you will have a problem because you will only be able to use one out of the two horizontal bracket holes unless you are drilling into a 4x4 stud or larger. The second hole will need a screw that is secured into the drywall. After mounting, I would not feel comfortable adding any significant weight on top of the mental. But, it looks great!

Love this.
Perfect piece for our room. Is sturdy and makes a statement without requiring a lot of space. Was able to get a long piece when other mantels stopped at 60”.

Poor hardware
The most certainly will need a middle bracket as the shelve is heavy. The shelve is very sturdy when I installed a middle bracket and is solid wood. This wouldn’t be for your not so handy person as you need to be able to measure accurately so you can drill holes In the back of the shelve for the two weak brackets that came with it.over all we are pleased with the shelve even though it’s a little expensive for a single piece of wood .

Gorgeous reclaimed wood mantles!
High quality reclaimed wood shelves! We originally ordered a larger mantle for the living room fireplace and because we fell in love with the first order (very easy to install and it was great quality) we decided to order (2) 24” ones for the kitchen to tie it all together! The items came much faster than the quoted shipping time. Highly recommend!!

Need to be handy and able to “fix up” before mounting- Good Customer Support
Update: There are so many beautiful images of this mantle but mine did not look like those. FYI: They also do not pre-drill for mounting which I did not see stated anywhere. the company has been fabulous with the return process. This is the only beam I could fine in the size I needed but the look wasn't for me.This beam is rustic but not in the charming way I was looking for. There are chunks missing from beam that definitely happened after staining, you can see that in the photo under the plastic. (company apologized and is issuing a refund) You will have to drill and mount with your own hardware.I will say that looking back on images they are pretty close to what I received. I think that I may have liked as floating shelves but as a very large mantle (96 in) it just wasn't what I envisioned.

Beautiful, one of a kind
While the shelves are pricey, they are well worth the investment. These are heavy, substantial shelves that are beautifully stained and from reclaimed barn wood. The company is quick to respond to questions and I would not hesitate to purchase from them again. Someone with experience in hanging heavy shelving will be useful as the package comes with directions on how to hang the shelves with pieces that the company sends. Luckily, my husband is well-versed in hanging a multitude of things for me over the years. I had been looking for over a year for just the right shelf in my bathroom and I'm so glad that I waited and eventually found this company. This was exactly what I was looking for!

It's Beautiful and Exactly what I wanted but installation is a pain
The mantle itself is beautiful I got the 54 inch size. There is a few chips in it from shipping but I was able to make sure that side was under when I installed it. I put mine in brick so I did switch out the hardware for some tapcon self anchor screws and masonry drill bits. The posts/brackets it comes with are definitely too short for this mantel and once I got it up it tilts down so much. The instructions it comes with are not very helpful. I'm going to try installing support brackets to get it level , hoping it will work 🤞
