I like the size of this journal and the number of pages (although I remove pages to make space for pockets and items I glue in my journals). Because this journal has stitched in pages (as signatures) I can remove the middle pages of a signature and it does not affect the integrity of other pages. The paper for the pages is perfect for me to add pockets; I can tuck loose items into the pockets without the pages being overwhelmed. I love that the when open the pages lay flat. I like the color of the paper and the college rule. I have done light watercolor painting in the journal; generally the paint does not soak through. I enjoy the sturdy kraft-paper like cover which invites me to doodle and collage to personalize the journal. I will definitely buy this again when my current journals are filled.

Smooth paper to write onVery sturdy construction

I bought the matrix dot version. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the paper. It’s smooth to the pen and pencil. And paper is relatively thick. Good build. I’d buy again.

Great price and great quality! The notebooks feel sturdy and I like that they lay flat. I’m also a sucker for Kraft paper and look forward to the customization I can do to decorate the cover! Only complaints I have is the bleeding on the pages (they’re actually pretty good thickness though) not being marker friendly, and I wish there was a pocket so that I could store my stencil or some stickers. Overall pleased with the purchase!

Absolutely love these as journals. I have even bought them in various sizes and in the blank paper version. They are pretty sturdy and simple, and the paper thickness is good. Pages don’t bleed through when writing with my sharpie fine liner. Great option for avid writers at a great price point.

These notebooks are excellent for the price! I'm an avid bullet journaler and these books are so much more affordable than the popular bullet journal companies and hold up just fine! Plus, you can easily decorate the covers!
