Call me panicked, paranoid, parental, paternal, preposterous, and/or peculiar. I will continue to believe the adjectives to be conscientious, concerned, conservative and cool, uncle. One of my nieces is now of the age that it is cool to walk home with friends from school, no parents allowed. And uncle cannot be there every day so I had to come up with something. I saw this little bee alarm and I just had to order it.For a child, this is a perfect adornment to her backpack. It will look just like a keychain and it really does, It is small and really kind of a cute little bee. But watch out for the sting. Wow, is this thing loud. Pull the pin and trust me everyone is going to stop what he or she are doing and look. Bingo, the job will be done. Hopefully, it will never be used except to harass the parental figures. And that is ok too. So for some piece of mind, this did it. Thank you. ^^Past Reviews: One of my coworkers have this and it's adorable. I wanted to get one for myself but I've been disappointed by this. It is defective. Does not make a sound when pulled and I haven't even had it for more than an hour. Could I do a return and get a new one? I know it works because my co-workers have it and still need the safety of an alarm.

The Bee personal alarm is super cute. The colors of the wings are much more orange than in the picture but it makes it even more adorable. The key ring seems pretty strong and it's attached by a sewn-in ribbon to the bee. The alarm is really loud. It takes a little effort to re-insert the pin back into the bee but it's not too difficult. It would be great for a child's backpack or even belt loop. I actually bought it for my daughter who has to walk out to her car alone into a parking garage but it's a little more kid-like so I think one of my granddaughters will end up with it. Still, it's definitely a great safety device.

Got this a couple days ago and it was really cute, but I was terrified to test it out out of fear that someone would hear and call the police. However, I didn't have to test it out myself because today in class a friend of mine asked what it was and almost pulled the pin out. When I grabbed his hand and told him it would make a loud noise, he didn't believe me and when I looked away he pulled the pin out. The noise was INCREDIBLY loud and disruptive and it caught everyone in my class' attention. I was embarrassed. But I'm glad it does it's job, so it gets 5 stars.

The bee key chain is beautiful and cute. It comes inside a small box. We tried the alarm and it worked just fine. It is super loud!. It was very hard to turn off the noise but in a way it is okay so in case of an emergency the attacker cannot turn it off easily. Hopefully that never happens. My daughter wanted it cause she is moving out of town to attend college and she will be staying in the dorms besides she is loves bees! It is perfect for her!

I bought this item for my girls. I purchased them stun guns which they did not want to use so I bought this for them to attach to their backpacks or purses. It is small enough to attach to a purse without being too noticeable. The shrill sound it emits is pretty loud and will attract attention. It is pretty easy to pull the cord to have the alarm sound. Something is better than nothing, I think. I am hoping my girls will like and use this bumblebee.

Still not sure on this, when u pull it out... ITS LOUD, it is kinda diff. to get back in, and I don't know but I think u have to wait a while for it to "reset" because if we pulled the pin out again in 4 minutes it wouldn't go off, but later that night when tried, it did go off again.

I decided to get this bee because it was adorable, and that my parents are very worried because i have to walk in campus in the evening now that i have late classes. This is perfect just in case i get jumped on my way back to my car. Fits perfectly on my keychain!
